The Bad Boy and I

Chapter 7

I head to school with Daniella and I see Ryder talking to a group of boys who were also the schools jock. He sees me walking with Daniella and he runs over to me.

"Babe...babe hey where you off to?" Ryder calls and blocks my way.

"Dropping Daniella off to her class before making ways to mine" I mention.

"Cool so listen I wanted to let you know we're going to the movies tonight I got a friend who can give us free tickets" he smiles.

"Okay that sounds nice" I smile back.

"Yeah I'll pick you up from school and we'll make ways" he says

"Okay see you then" I say and he pushes his hair back.

"Alright bye" he runs off to his friends again and they cheer for him. I'm guessing he told them we were a thing now.

"So your second date is to the movies nice" Daniella winks.

"Yeah I'm glad it's something normal I mean our club date was good but I don't know I guess I'm more into the cliche sort of date" I speak truthfully.

"Come on people aren't like how they were back in the 90s everything's different now" she says and that's true.

"I don't know I prefer how things were back then and I wish people were into movies, roses, and sunsets" I start thinking of all those hints and it makes me smile widely.

"Basically romantic"

"Yeah" I gleam.

"Your forgetting your dating a bad boy, bad boys aren't romantic" she mentions.

"Don't be so quick to judge you don't know maybe he is being romantic by taking me to the movies"

"Yeah your right but let me know how your date is"

"Who else would I tell?" I pull her closer to me before we reached her class.

I drop her off and go to my class which was math. I see Seth in his seat looking at a practice math paper unlike the other students who aren't even paying attention to the fact they have practice papers on their desk.

"Hi" I greet.

"Hey" he greets back without making eye contact.

"Everything good?" I cough and ask to get his attention.

"Yeah you?" he asks but wasn't looking at me.

"Yeah everything's great" I smile but he still wasn't looking at me.

"So Ryder's taking me out tonight" I make conversation with him and I was trying to hard.

"Really where you going?" He straight away made contact as soon as I said that.

"To the movies" I reveal.

"Oh really" he raises his eyebrows.

"Yeah it's nice right"

"Yeah very nice of him to do that" he flared his nose and he looked angry.

"Why do you sound like that?" I ask nervously.

"No reason no reason at all"

I start to wonder whether telling Seth about my date with Ryder was such a good idea. He seemed a little annoyed after I mentioned it so I'm guessing there's something wrong.
