AN: Hello lovelies! Thank you for stopping to read my story! I wrote this one awhile ago but never put it up and then I forgot about it and it got lost on the abyss that is my computer lol! I went through some old files and I stumbled on it and decided to post it. It was one of the first stories I ever wrote. I was going to just put it up as is but I read through it myself I realized how bad it really was lol. So I decided to revamp it here and there before posting it. I've gotten through the revamp of the first 15 chapters, and I haven't posted in forever so I decided I'd post a few chapters as a teaser and see if it'll be with it to continue or not. Feel free to let me know what you think! I love reading your thoughts!! :) xoxo

Chapter 1

The plane had finally landed in Houston, Texas and she couldn't wait to get off the plane. She couldn't sleep the night before because she was so anxious about the flight and about picking up and moving to a new place. She was also so overly tired; all she was really interested in was taking a nap but she already knew that wasn't going to happen.

She stood up and pulled her carryon bag down from the overhead console. She patiently waited for her chance to exit the plane. After a few seconds, she slid out into the walkway and headed towards the exit. She followed the crowd down the corridor and into the airport. She quickly began scanning faces until she found a familiar one.

"Brian!" she yelled as she took off into a sprint towards him.

"Short-Stuff!"

She leapt into his arms. Brian Cushing, Inside Linebacker for the Houston Texan's football team, caught her easily.

"Jesus woman! Did ya miss me or something?" he asked with a laugh.

"Yes!" she exclaimed. "It's been entirely too long since I've seen you last!"

Brian set her down gently on her feet. He eyed the tiny blonde up and down and shook his head.

"What?" she asked curiously.

"You look like you've lost a lot of weight," he answered with a frown.

"Oh stop! I'm in better shape then I've been in... In... My entire life!"

Brian scrunched his face up into another frown. He shook his head. "No, you looked just fine the way you were and I'm almost... No, I'm 100% sure you didn't loose the weight in a healthy way."

Brian and Trish had known each other since they were children. They grew up together since diapers; they were so close he called her his little sister and she called him her older brother; their mom's were best friends. Brian knew Trish like a book and she knew it.

"I've been working out," she told him after a few minutes of silence.

"Umm hmm..."

"I have been!" she said, defensively this time. "I'll work circles around your big ass in the gym!"

Brian couldn't contain his laugher. He let out a hardy laugh. "Oh you think?"

"No! I know I can!"

He shook his head, chuckling as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "Come on Shorty; let's go get the rest of your junk so we can get the hell out of here."

"Are you kidding me?" Trish asked; a look of shock clearly written on her face.
