AN: Hello lovelies! Thank you for stopping to read my story! I wrote this one awhile ago but never put it up and then I forgot about it and it got lost on the abyss that is my computer! I went through some old files and I stumbled on it and decided to post it. It was one of the first stories I ever wrote. I was going to just put it up as is but I read through it myself I realized how bad it really was lol. So I decided to revamp it here and there before posting it. I've gotten through the revamp of the first 15 chapters. Feel free to let me know what you think! I love reading your thoughts!! :) xoxo

Chapter 13

It had now been two weeks since the last sighting of Andrew. Brian and JJ were finally beginning to relax their hold on Trish. She had not been allowed out of the house since JJ took her back to the hospital to have the twelve stitches she'd gotten to close her hand up out of her hand. They hadn't gotten any notice from the Houston Police Department on whether or not they'd captured Andrew or not which made them still leery. She wasn't allowed out of their sight. If one wasn't with her the other one was or they both were. She felt as though she was far passed the stage of cabin fever that she couldn't come up with the word to describe it.

Opening day of the football season was rapidly approaching. Trish was made to go to all team workouts, practices, and wait at the stadium for them to be done. Brian and JJ weren't worried about the home games; it was the away games they were worried about. They were both still discussing what would happen although Trish fought vehemently that she would be fine staying at home. She wanted to go back to work. She told them it would help ease her mind having something to do rather than sit idly but neither of them were having any parts of her idea.

Trish was over the moon when she was finally granted permission to go to the grocery store alone. She was given a strict time limit of two hours by Brian to go, get what she wanted to get, and come back. She put down all the windows of the car, enjoying the beautiful day. She slid her sunglasses onto her face and enjoyed the wind blowing her hair all over as she drove. She took the unnecessarily long way to get to the store just in order to be out even just a little bit longer. She pulled into the parking lot, found a spot, parked, got out and made her way into the store.

Trish made her shopping trip as long as she could. She finally had run out of isles to peruse and she was pretty certain a few of the employees had their eyes on her in fear that she was up to something. She reluctantly made her way to the register to pay for her items. The same two stock boys were milling around at the registers which made her giggle to herself. She paid for her things and then pushed the cart out to the car. She loaded all of the groceries into the back of the car before returning the cart to its place.

She slid into the car and turned on the engine. She fiddled with the radio station in a futile attempt to delay the inevitable. She finally sighed softly to herself before backing out of the parking spot. She began her journey back home once again taking the scenic route. She enjoyed the rights of the lonely roads. She was only ten minutes into her drive home and she was already becoming sad.

"Why so sad buttercup?" a voice spoke in her ear.

She froze at the sound, recognizing the voice immediately. She gripped the steering wheel so tight her knuckles turned white. She looked into the rearview mirror only to see Andrew looking back at her.

"Do you know how long it took me to find you?" he hissed through clenched teeth.

She shook her head 'no' slightly.

"I don't understand why you left anyway..." he mused to himself. "But that's neither here nor there now because I found you and that's the important thing, right my love?"
