Chapter 7

AN: Hello lovelies! Thank you for stopping to read my story! I wrote this one awhile ago but never put it up and then I forgot about it and it got lost on the abyss that is my computer lol! I went through some old files and I stumbled on it and decided to post it. It was one of the first stories I ever wrote. I was going to just put it up as is but I read through it myself I realized how bad it really was lol. So I decided to revamp it here and there before posting it. I've gotten through the revamp of the first 15 chapters, and I haven't posted in forever so I decided I'd post a few and gauge interest. Feel free to let me know what you think! Chapter 7

*three months later*

Trish and JJ had been taking things slow... Extremely slow and that suited Brian just fine. They had yet to even go on a first date yet. They'd hung out, mostly around Brian's house and a few group get togethers. As much as JJ wanted things to progress, he also didn't want to push things too fast. All he knew was the more time he spent with her, the deeper he fell for her.

JJ was getting ready to host a black tie charity even for his personal charity, The JJ Watt Foundation. He had yet to ask Trish to accompany him, but he hoped she'd taken the assumption she was because there was no one else he'd want to go with.

"So, did you decide on your dress yet?" Romina asked.

"Dress? For what?" Trish asked confused.

"Uh for JJ's charity event," Romina answered with a laugh, clearly taking her answer as a joke. "You know... On Friday..."

Trish glanced at JJ who was sharing the love seat with her at the house she shared with Brian. "No... He didn't ask me to go with him."

Romina and Arian passed a look between themselves. "Oh?..." she answered, her face begging for an explanation.

JJ's face began to turn a light pink color. "I kinda figured it was already assumed that you were going with me?" JJ explained.

"I don't 'assume' anything," Trish clarified.

JJ followed the sound of laughter right to Brian who was sitting on the other end of the long sectional couch in the living room with Megan. JJ glared at Brian who made no attempt at hiding his laughter.

"I just thought you would have already known I wanted you to go with me. I want you to do everything with me," he answered with a smile, trying to save himself. "It would be a nice first date, don't you think?"

"JJ... Umm... I uhh... I don't know if I'll be able to find something to wear in time."

"Don't even worry honey!" Romina interjected. "I've got you covered girly! I know the perfect place! It's where I got my dress. I can pick you up tomorrow and we can go over together. I love shopping, so I'm ready, willing, and able! They'll hook you up with shoes and a bag as well! Oh and I'll get my girl to do your hair and makeup when she does mine! Either I'll get ready here or you can come and get ready at Arian's with me... But never mind about that... We'll worry about that later. I'm super excited to go shopping!" Romina squealed.

JJ was so thankful Romina saved his ass. He grinned at Trish. "So what do you say? Will you be my date?"

All eyes were on Trish, eagerly awaiting her answer. "Of course," she answered with a weak smile.

"Aww! How sweet!" Romina cooed. "I'm so happy! So you and I have a date tomorrow girly! I'll pick you up around 2-ish?"

"Okay, sounds good," she answered with another weak smile.
