I went through some old files and I stumbled on it and decided to post it. It was one of the first stories I ever wrote. I was going to just put it up as is but I read through it myself I realized how bad it really was lol. So I decided to revamp it here and there before posting it. I've gotten through the revamp of the first 15 chapters. Feel free to let me know what you think! I love reading your thoughts!! :) xoxo

Chapter 13

Trish? Answer me! JJ shrieked into the phone.

He looked down at the screen of his phone to see the call was gone. He immediately called back but her phone went straight to her voicemail. "What the fuck!" JJ shouted loudly in frustration.

"Was that her? Did you get through?" Brian questioned impatiently.

"Only for a second..."

"What did she say? Where is she?" Brian continued, cutting JJ off.

"I was only able to speak to her for a minute. She said Andrew found her... She said they were at the 'Hol' and then the call cut off."

"The 'Hol'? What the hell is the 'Hol'?"

JJ shook his head in an attempt to get a clear thought. His mind raced in fifty-thousand different directions. Where does he have her? What is he going to do to her? What has he already done to her?

Brian was already pacing the living room as he spoke to Houston Police. He was almost through reiterating what they knew. His voice was frantic.

"Holiday Inn!" JJ finally blurted out. "He's got her at the Holiday Inn!"

Brian relayed the information to the officer on the other end of the phone before hanging up.

"Well?" JJ pressed.

"They're sending out Houston PD to do a patrol. They put out an APB on her, him, and the car. They have Houston SWATT on standby. They want us to come down to the precinct until they catch him. They said it'll be the safest for us," Brian explained.

"Safest for us? I'm not fucking worried about me or my safety! I'm worried about my girlfriend! What if he hurts her, Brian? What if he takes off somewhere with her? What then?" JJ shouted. "What if, God forbid, he kills her? I can't loose her Brian. I love her!" he continued, not thinking about what he was saying as he ranted on.

Brian stopped dead in his tracks. "You love her?" he asked softly, repeating JJ's last words.

JJ sighed an exasperated sigh as he ran his hands through his hair. "Yes, I love her."

"Does she know?"

"No... And the thought of not being able to tell her..."

Brian placed a hand on JJ's shoulder, squeezing softy. "We don't need to worry about that JJ. They're going to find him and they're going to find her. She's a tough gir... woman. She's always been. I have faith that she'll be able to handle herself through this."

The look of panic and worry didn't leave JJ's face but he nodded in agreement with Brian.

"Come on. Let's get down to the station. We'll be able to keep up with things better there and we'll get information much faster."

It had now been two hours. Houston PD was out in full force looking for Trish, Andrew, or her car. They were able to locate Trish's car and SWAT was called in. SWAT raided the room the clerk at the front desk had told them they were in. The raid turned up nothing but a few drug baggies, a bag of men's clothes, and bloodstains around the room. The detective came into the waiting room where JJ and Brian had been pacing to deliver the news.

"Mr. Watt? Mr. Cushing?"

Both men spun around, eager to hear the news.

"Houston SWAT just completed and cleared the raid at the Holiday where we located Trish's car. Unfortunately, the room turned up nothing but a few empty drug baggies, a bag of men's clothing, and some blood in the room."

JJ growled in frustration as he punched the wall. The drywall crumbled around his fist, falling to the floor like snowflakes. He pulled his hand away from the wall and shook the dust off his hand. He plopped down on the couch in the waiting room and buried his face in his hands.

"Mr. Watt, I assure you; we're doing everything possible. We will find her. I know it's a long shot but we have an idea. We want one of you two to call her. Hopefully she'll answer or Andrew will answer and we need you to keep them on the line as long as possible so we can attempt to get a location on them."

"I tried calling her back after the line went dead the first time. It went straight to voicemail," JJ explained.

"That's why it's a long shot. She's got a great will to survive... To live. She's a smart girl and we're hoping she was able to get to her cell phone again."

"I'll call her," Brian volunteered.

The officer led Brian and JJ into a room and hooked Brian's cell phone up to one of their devices. When they were done, they told Brian to call. He quickly scrolled trough his phone, found her name, waited.

"It's ringing!" Brian whispered in an excited whisper.

"Remember, keep whoever answers the phone on the line as long as you possibly can," the officer reminded Brian.

Brian nodded as he continued to listen to the phone ring.

Brian! Trish's voice came through the speaker in a whisper.

"Oh my God! Trish! Where are you? Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Brian babbled.

I can't talk long Brian. I'm afraid he'll wake up and catch me again. He doesn't know I stole my phone back from him.

"Where is he?"

He shot up a few bags of heroine. I guess that's his new drug of choice. He's passed out right now.

"Trish, you've got to run! Get the hell out of there!" Brian pleaded.

I can't Brian! I can't! she sobbed in a whisper.

"What do you mean you can't?"

When he caught me on the phone the first time he drug me back to the room and took a baseball bat to my leg. He said that since the handcuffs didn't keep me, the broken leg would, she choked out through tears.

Tears welled up in Brian's eyes. He looked at the officer who was listening to their conversation.

"A few more minutes," he mouthed. "We almost have a location."

"Trish, you have to stay on the phone with me sweetie, they almost have a location on where that bastard took you."

I can't, she whispered even softer now.

"No no no!" Brian pleaded. "Trish you have to! Please hang on just a few more minutes."

He's waking up...

"Trish? Trish? Trish?" Brian shrieked into the phone.

The officer that had been listening to their conversation banged his head on his desk in frustration when the line went dead.

"I was only able to bring it to a ten mile radius. She didn't stay on long enough for me to pull the exact address."
