Daniel's P.O.V.
Charlie wanted to take Amber on their first date so they were gone. Ms. Rydel had taken the twins to a birthday party so they were gone. Mr. Phillips had to work so he was gone. That left Anabell alone.
I want to take her out on a date but she refused to leave the house. "I don't want to leave," Anabell protests.
"Please," I plead. "For me!"
"No Daniel, I don't want to get up. Its too much work."
I stopped begging her. Of course she didn't want to leave. I can see that she is getting weaker and weaker.
I thought for a while and then proposed, "Ok, how about this? We go to your home movie theater and watch movies and eat junk food. I'll even carry you there."
"Ok... I guess that works," she sighed.
I then picked her up bridal style with her blanket and carried her down the stairs to the home theater. I put her on the love-seat. I told her that I would be right back and then I walked to the kitchen. I scoped through the cupboards until I found three bags of M&M's, a pack of twizzlers, two orange sodas, and a bag of microwave popcorn. I put the popcorn in the microwave and ran to get extra blankets and pillows. After, I went to grab all the snacks and made my way back to the home theater. I found Anabell curled up in her blanket. "Comfortable?" I questioned.
"Yup, I am," she said with a smile.
"Here," I replied slipping a pillow under her back and head. "What movie do you want to watch? I see The Hunger Games, Smurfs, The Avengers, and Pitch Perfect."
See I was a gentleman, I let her pick the movie.
"Let's watch The Avengers," she said.
"Ok," I replied.
I put the movie in the DVD player, then I snuggled up next to Anabell.

When the end credits started to play, the twins walked in and said it was time for dinner. Anabell didn't want to move so I picked her up and brought her to the dinner table. I noticed how she just picked at her food but did not eat it. I felt bad, especially because I couldn't do anything.
After dinner Anabell and I went back to the movie theater and watched more movie, snuggling together. At around midnight, Mr. Phillips came down.
"Have you called your parents Daniel? I am all okay with you staying the night but you should probably let them know."
I stood up and said, "Yeah, I will go right now."
I left the room right as Anabell's dad was taking my spot. I called my parents getting the okay to stay and returned to the home theater. Anabell and Mr. Phillips were talking. They heard me come in and turned to look at me.
"My parents said it was okay to stay," I say.
"That's great. I was just telling Anabell goodnight," he said. Mr. Phillips kissed Anabell on the head and said to her, " Night baby girl. I love you."
He then got up and said, "Don't stay up too late. And no funny buisness."
"Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadddddddddddddddd," Anabell complained.
I instantly cut in, "I promise sir, no funny business."
I felt the need to address him as sir because when it comes to that topic, parents mean buisness.
I put the Smurfs in and sat back down in my spot. I curled up with Anabell in my arms and asked, "What did your dad want?"
"He just said his usual goodnight to me like he normally does."
"Oh ok," I stated.
We stayed like that till we both fell asleep.
---------------------
That morning I woke up and didn't know where I was. I then realized I had fell asleep in the Phillips' home movie theater. I picked up my phone to find that it was 11:23am. Wow we stayed up late. I moved around and then shook Anabell to wake her up. Only she didn't wake up. I shook her harder and called her name, but she gave me no response. By this time I started breathing a little heavier. I then felt for her pulse and heart beat but I came up with nothing. I knew this day would come, we all did. But that doesn't mean I couldn't wish for things to be different. A tear slipped out of my eye because this only meant one thing.
Anabell Taylor Phillips had died.
