Chapter eight:

Date?:

The flight went by in a flash but only because I fell asleep half way their.

Before I fell asleep, the little girl/Ferimone(yes, I know), and I spoke about lots of things. Turns out she and her sister are flying back to London after spending their holiday in the states. Her sister was sat somewhere else but she didn't know where.

When we landed in London, I was woken up by an overly excited Ferimone.

"Harley! Harley! Wake up! We're here!" she exclaimed excitedly.

I groaned and opened my eyes reluctantly. I gave Ferimone a small smile and she returned it.

"I'm so excited to be home!" she squealed.

"That's cool, kiddo. Do you want me to help you find your sister?" I asked yawning and stretching as wide as I could in the little space I had.

"No, it's okay. Mum and dad are probably waiting for me in the airport. And my sister already left with someone else" she said.

"Okay, well let me walk with you" I said refusing to leave a seven year old girl alone in a huge ass airport looking for her parents and her irresponsible older sister.

I took my bag pack out of the compartment and helped Ferimone do the same. Most of the people were out of the plane already and if it weren't for Ferimone I would still be sleeping. I looked over at Nathaniel seat and saw that him and Sangria were already gone. The damn Abercrombian left me behind to go with that Peroxide Barbie!

"Let's go, Ferimone" I said trying not to show my sudden mood change.

I can't believe Nathaniel left me! He left me, his childhood friend, for Sangria, a girl he knew for no less than five minutes. But anyways, I guess I'm that important to him then. Am I his girlfriend? No! Am I his best friend? Not even. Am I his Peroxide Barbie? No way in hell! Well I guess the questions have answered themselves.

I sighed as we entered the airport. The buzz of British accents filled the building.

"Hey, there's mummy and daddy" Ferimone said pulling game toward a woman and a man on the opposite side of us.

The woman had honey blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes. Her skin was pale but just enough to make her look like snow white. She wore very sophisticated clothing. She looked to be in her late thirties.

As for the man. He looked like he could be in his mid forties. He had dark brown hair and pale green eyes. The slight wrinkles by his eyes making him look older. He wasn't as white as the women but he wasn't dark either.

"Ferimone" the man said enthusiastically hugging his daughter.

"How's daddy's little girl?" he said pulling away and patting her hair.

"Daddy" she whined "I'm nearly seven years old" she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Oh honey, ignore your daddy. Come and give mummy a squeeze" the woman said smiling. A squeeze?

I internally snorted. Ferimone moved in to give her mother a squeeze. When they pulled away, Ferimone looked over at me.

"Mum, dad. This is my friend. Harley Denegan" Ferimone introduced me.

I smiled and shook each of their hands.

"It's lovely to meet the parents of this wonderful little girl" I smiled brightly. I could feel Ferimone's glare when I referred to her as a little girl.
