Chapter two:
You did what?!:
I was down to two days. After my Caroline and I ate we apologised to each other and forgave each other. She said that she admits to being annoying and asked me not to refer to her pregnancy as 'fertilised eggs'.
I was currently making brownies for Amanda's husband, Shawn. He went on a business trip to Japan and was finally returning.
I put the brownies in the oven and checked the time. I have three more hours before he gets home. I walked to the lounge to join Henry and Caroline on the couch.
"What are you guys watching?" I asked sitting next to Henry.
"Keeping up with the Kardashians" replied Caroline.
"Kim is about to have a huge breakdown" Henry adds.
As we watch Kim's overly dramatic breakdown, my phone starts ringing. I excused myself and took the phone call in the kitchen.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Harley. It's Duncan"
Duncan?
Oh yeah! My best friends boyfriend.
"Hey, Duncan. What's wrong?"
"Umm...It's Alyssa"
"What did you do to my best friend?"
"No...She kinda what's to tell this boy something about you and I figured that it was going to be something that'll screw up your friendship"
"Wait...what boy?"
"You're not going to like it" I could just hear the sympathy in his voice.
"Who, Duncan? Tell me" I commanded.
"Nathaniel Camel"
