Chapter Ten:

Again:

It was Friday morning and I did not feel like going to my classes. But Friday is a short day anyways.

I sat up in my bed and stretched. I sighed with contentment as my back cracked.

"H! Eww!" Alyssa whined. I smiled at her.

"Good morning to you too, Al" I greeted.

"I don't know how you can crack your bones like that. It's disgusting" she grimaced.

"Whatever. I'm going to hit the shower" I said gathering my things.

"See you in class" she said as I walked out of the door.

After a much needed shower, I put on my robe and left for my room.

The bathrooms had twelve showers in it. The walls were painted a pale pink and it had white tiles.

There was a low wall in the middle with six sinks on either side. On the either side there was an aisle and six shower cubicles. I don't know if you understand my explanation but yeah.

When I reached the room and swung the door open, the sight before me was cute but disgusting at the same time.

"Duncan, will you stop eating my best friends face now?!" I exclaimed.

Duncan looked panicked and Alyssa looked annoyed.

"Five more minutes" she whined pulling Duncan back down.

I couldn't help but feel a pang in my chest at the sight. I had a crush on Duncan since eighth grade but he liked Alyssa.

I was heart broken for a while but I got over it.

"Guys!"

They pulled away and Duncan stood up with a sigh. Alyssa shot me a glare.

"I'll see you later, babe" he gave her a quick peck.

"Goodbye, Duncy" I said pinching his cheek as he walked past.

"Bye, Harley" he greeted back patting my hair.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to do that!" I shot him a glare. He waved while laughing walking away.

Even though I have had feelings for Duncan, we were actually very good friends.

"I swear, you guys are meant to be brother and sister" Alyssa chuckled.

"I wouldn't want to be related to anyone looking like that!" I said as loud as I could so it could catch up to him as he walked.

Alyssa said something along the lines of taking a shower before walking out of our room.

I started getting dressed into our school uniform.

For the girls: Navy, above the knee, pleated skirts. Below the knee navy stockings. White shirt tucked into the skirt. Black tee-bar shoes and a navy cardigan.

The lining of the cardigan was a Camel color along with the outline if the buttons.

For the boys: Camel colored slacks. Crisped white shirts. A Camel and navy tie. Black dress shoes and a navy blazer with the school logo on the right breast.

The girls could choose if they wanted to where the logo or not but it was compulsory for the boys.

When I was done, I ran my hands through my shoulder length hair. It raked through effortlessly due to me brushing it in the bathroom.
