I woke up to my parents yelling. I looked over at my clock and noticed that its 6:15 am. My school usually starts at 7:00 so I have some time.

I pulled the blankets down and was immediately hit with cold air. I quickly got some clothes and made my way to the shower. Making sure the water was perfect I stripped down and hopped into the shower. Humming the tune to an unknown song, I tried to block out the sound of my parents fighting. They never fight for this long so it must be really serious.

Once I was done washing my body I grabbed my strawberry shampoo and conditioner and started washing my hair. After that I got out and started to get dressed.

I made my way down stairs and heard my parents whispering

"Why the hell did you not pay them?!"

"I had no freaking money! What do you expect me to do?! I told them that I would pay next week!"

"You better. Remember that they said there would be consequences if we don't pay on time!"

I decided that I heard enough and went into the kitchen. Once they heard the door open and close they both stopped whispering.

"Hey honey why are you up so early?" My mom asked. "Your yelling." I answered. "Oh honey im sorry. Would you like breakfast?" "No thanks im going to have Delilah pick me up and we'll just get food on the way to school." I shrugged.

I walked out of the kitchen and texted Delilah

Me-Hey can you give me a ride to school?

Deli<3- Sure be there in five minutes xx

All that's going through my head is What did they buy that's so important? What do they mean there will be consequences? What the hell have they gotten themselves into?
