The Reunion

Sorry for the long wait but I was busy with some things and since I was less busy I decided to update.
So here it is....

July 14th
Zarah's POV

It was a Thursday evening and the weather these days has been quiet humid and the rain has been so unpredictable. I was sitting in front of my vanity table touching up my make up after dressing up in a black skinny jeans and white top paired with a red and black polkadot kimono and a red veil, I was waiting for Amir to come pick me up since we were meant to have arrived at the hospital in about an hour and Amir was yet to show up.

"Zarah!! Mr loverboy is here" Came Aisha's voice from downstairs so I hurriedly picked up my black Michael Kors purse sprayed a little of my Calvin Klein "Obession" and slipped in my black versace slippers befire running down.

"I'm ready" I said running down to meet Amir who was still standing by the door. He was dressed in a white playboy top and blue jeans and as casual as it might sound he still looked breath taking in his clothes.

"You look gorgeous" He said smiling at me closed the door to his new black Audi R8 that was gifted to him a few weeks back by his company after he had won a contract that worth about a few billions.

"I try" I said smirking at him. I and Amir had become really close since the date for our wedding was picked.

"Ever heard of being humble" he said feigning hurt.

"Doesn't exist in my dictionary" I said sticking out my tongue to him and he just shaked his head with his heart warming smile in view and roared the car to life before driving off into the busy streets of Abuja.

I had started singing along as it was my favourite song from Alex and Sierra.

"Babe" He said turning to me. Amir had started calling me all sort of cut pay names but most at times he called me babe.

"Yeah, bunny" I replied. I called him bunny because his favorite fruit is carrots.

"If anything goes wrong... I just wanted you to know I'll still love you the same" He said as a came to a stop at the car park of th hospital.

"Bunny... All these are just formalities it doesn't really matter" I said reassuring him since he looked a bit nervous.

"Okay, so can we go in now" He said speaking a bit more confidently.

The checkup took about two hours since blood samples were required and it took a while getting the neddle close to Amir since he was sacred as hell, i know right... What grown man I scared of needles but yet here I was trying to calm the love of my life down after a blood sample was taken from him all because of a needle.

"Mr Amir, Miss Zarah... you may go in now" A nurse dressed in their normal attire looking all dolled up with makeup plastered all over her face.

Thank you! We said in unison getting up and walking into the doctors office.

"Miss Zarah, how are you and everyone at home? Mr Amir my pleasure to meet you. You may have your sit." Doctor Elizabeth said standing up from her sit and mo tioning for us to sit down before she sat down.

"So from your result here I think there I nothing to be worried about because both of you are healthy and compatible and as for the pregnancy issues... yes Zarah you can still conceive." Dr. Lizzy said as she was looking at our report that was in her hands. When she informed us that I could still conceive my joy knew no bounds.
