Lunch Date

Zarah's POV
Time was 2pm and I was standing by the road side with Faisal while we waited for Amir. Barely a minute later and a black Honda Civic 2016 parked in front of me and Amir came out all dressed in a Blue Jacket and white trousers stunning would be an insult to how he looked. He opened the door for me to sit in front while Faisal sat behind us, minutes later and we were parked in front of RayJay's International Cuisine Stop at Sun City Estate he came down and opened the door for me and as I got out he whispered in my ear telling me how beautiful I looked which made me blush.

We were shown to our table and asked to go through menu and with that the waiter left us to go through it. I introduced both of them to one another and they both shook hands with Faisal giving him a threatened glare while telling him that if he ever made me cry he would make sure he wouldn't be able to drive a car again which made me chuckle at Faisal's protectiveness.
We placed our order and we were served in no time, Amir ordered the beef ribs and mashed potato with salad, Faisal ordered the Chicken soup and Apple juice while I ordered Turkey wings and basmati rice topped with chicken sauce. We had lunch while chit chatting and the occasional loving glances from Amir and by 5pm he offered to go drop us at home.
He drove us home and asked Faisal for permission to speak to me in private and Faisal got out of the car but leaned against it.

"Zarah I like you, No rephrase that. I love you and yes i know we just met but it really bothers me when you don't come to work or when you are sad or when i don't see you. And I know it seems like an infactuation but the truth is i don't want to go another week without talking to you so i really want to ask for your dad's permission to court you if you are pleased with my decision that is, I really had fun today and I'm glad you accepted my lunch request." He said calmly with pleading eyes.

" Amir, I also had fun and that too after a long while and with you I feel happy and forget all my worries but we both know the only person that should decide that should be my dad. So I think you should meet him and ask for his permission if you are really serious about what you've said and I will talk to him about it" I said which made him smile bright instead of the reply I had expected and he said he was going to send his dad over and he knows the it's too soon because he can't wait any longer.

Still looking into each others eyes he leaned in closing the gap between us  tension rising as I looked into his eyes that begged for a chance making me also lean in for a short yet passionate kiss that lasted two breath taking minutes (A/N: before anyone goes haram police on me, My characters aren't perfect and neither Is anyone of us. Don't hate the book just hate the sin😉)

I got out of the car still thinking about what went down moments ago and on our way inside i told Faisal about what Amir said and he smiled saying he was happy I was finally moving on and that he likes Amir and found him presentable .
I was happy all night which raised a few eyebrows at the dining table during dinner. When we got to our room Aisha locked the door which was unusual and scared me. "Are you going to tell me or am I going to gag and beat it out of you" She said with a serious look on her face
"Well it's a long story and I promise I'll tell you but can we go pray and I want to go meet mum, but I promise to tell you when i come back to the room" I said which she reluctantly agreed to before unlocking the door.

I prayed my Isha and Istikarah before steeping out to go meet mum in her garden which was her favorite place in the house. I met her signing to her favorite love song from her teenage days when she met out dad.
"Err Na(My child), you've been smiling foolishly since you came back from your outing, mind telling me what is amusing you" Mum said moving for me to sit on the swing which I swiftly did and as I sat down I hugged my mum and couldn't control the tears that followed. It made mum worried and after calling me down she asked me what happened, I narrated my meetings with Amir and told her that he wanted to come meet dad that which made her tear up and we were in each others arm crying which alerted my dad, my brothers and Aisha to the garden. Dad asked the reason for our tears and mum announced the fact that I had found someone which made everyone cheer for me and Aisha run over to hug me and in no time we were all in a group hug.
My night that day was filled with Aisha's drama and questions and to no ones surprise she named all my kids and gave us a compound name.
