Ryan's POV
I woke to a quietly snoring Brendon. He's still attached to me. I rub my eyes awake, the room is partly lit with a lazy blue hue so it has to be early. I decide to get up quietly. Sliding out of his firm grasp causing him to stir a little then rest his head back in the pillow, hugging the other one tight against his chest. He looks like an innocent child. I smile then go to the restroom to rinse my face then the kitchen. I was right, the clock reads 4:34a.m. Once I'm done I get my lyric book and sit outside, coffee in hand. Mind full of inspiration and a sharp pencil I easily filled two pages. I watched the sun rise higher and higher as I sipped my now lukewarm coffee and kept going.
I didn't realize how much time passed until Brendon came up behind me slowly, startling me. He laughs and sits in the lawn chair across from me with two fresh cups of coffee in hand.
"Good morning, or should I say afternoon?" He says smiling, his hair is disheveled making him more beautiful. I rub my face.
"God what time is it?" He laughs.
"It's noon, how long have you been awake?" He asks this time.
"Too long to remember." I reply. I close my notebook and take a drink of the coffee he put in front of me. My stomach suddenly growling.
"I was going to make breakfast...but you don't have eggs, or bacon, or milk-."
"Yeah yeah yeah I know I need to go grocery shopping."
"What if we go now?" He asks. I raise an eyebrow, what if we get caught together by a fan?
"Come on get dressed I'll go to mine and get ready we'll leave in an hour." He says, his boyish grin makes it too hard to resist.
Okay.

Brendon's POV
It feels like it's been a while since I've been here. I mean actually here. I wash my face and brush my teeth thinking about Ryan's lonely toothbrush and how it would look next to mine. I smile at the thought.
I get ready and just as I'm done I hear a knock at my door knowing it's Ryan.
"Come in." I yell from the back. He walks in quietly and looks around and smiles as he lays his eyes on me.
"You know you don't need to do that." I say raising an eyebrow.
"Do what." He asks. I kiss him.
"Knock on my door." I pull away and hold his hand, discreetly putting my spare key in his palm. He looks up at his hand and kisses me even harder.
I lean into his rhythm and he pushes me against the wall and runs his tongue along my lip. I pull back.
"Now Ryan if we go any further we might have to finish what you started." I warn. He shrugs and grips my thigh.
"Oh well." I laugh and push him off.
"Too bad I'm too starving to care." I turn to the door and brush past him on the way out.
We take his car to the nearby market. I grab a basket and we walk down the produce aisle first. I load up the basket as he holds it.
"God your such a girl." He says. I get closer and brush his lips with mine.
"That's why I'm the bottom." I pull away to see an old couple looking at us in disgust. I grimace at them and look away to kiss Ryan instead that caught them off guard enough to hurry away.
"Do you have to be a tease in the store?" He asks I laugh and continue to throw things into the basket. As I was staring at the can foods section trying to figure out which ones to buy when he whispered by me.
"Maybe I won't be needing that spare key Bren." My smile faltered. Why not? Is he afraid we'll get caught. We go to his apartment all the time? I turn dismissive in a way and act like I'm distracted by labels to care.
"Really? Why?" I say in a harsh tone.
"Well-."
"Well what Ryan?" I turn around. "I had it made so you can come over whenever you want. I didn't think you'd have a problem with it. Do you not like my apartment or what?-."
"No.." He laughed like I was dumb. "I should have reworded it better, I mean I won't be needing it because I want you to move in with me."
His statement caught me so off guard I stopped and looked at him again.
"You want me to move in with you?" I ask smiling.
"Well yeah I want you to I mean your there all the time I have room you can-." I cut him off with a hug. At this point it was too risky to kiss him in the store even if I wanted to. I still had my arms around him and people started to stare.
"So...is that a yes?"
"A yes? Of course Ryan I'll move in with you are you kidding?" I smile and kiss his neck right on his sweet spot and he shivers.
"Okay." Then he takes my hand and when he lets go is a spare key
This time it's his.

Brendon's pov cont'd
We get to the house food and takeout in hand. We were too hungry to cook so we just got Mexican food from down the street. He sets the food down as I take the groceries and start stocking the fridge.. our fridge. I wasn't even noticing how much I was smiling until Ryan interrupted my thoughts.
"You've been staring at that juice lovingly for 2 minutes what's on your mind?" He asks.
"Just something that crossed my mind from earlier."
"Oh? Care to tell?" He asks with a raised eyebrow. I shrug.
"It's dumb."
"No I want to know." he says playfully caressing my cheek. I look down.
"Before you came over I was brushing my teeth and smiling at the idea of how cute our toothbrushes would look in your little sad lonely cup you have in the restroom." We both laugh.
"Well not lonely for long. God we're so gay, I hate us." I laughed. He smiled. He turned and around and grabbed the food cans and stocked the cabinets while I was finishing up the fridge. Finally we got done and got our food. We ate silently for a while until he spoke.
"After we eat do you want to get your stuff I'll make room in my- our closet.. and you have drawers on your side already so.." I nodded and noticed a bit of salsa rolling down his lip. I caught it with my thumb. He's always been a messy eater, it was cute actually.

Ryan's POV
We went to his (old) apartment with a few bags and went through everything. He got all of his clothes first and just threw them on our bed. He didn't have much. We first did the room we decided to keep his tall lamp and dresser since he may need it. We left his bed for later. Then next was the living room we kept the recliner and tv for our room and left the couches and side tables. With the kitchen we just threw out whatever was old and kept whatever wasn't. We kept his table since I didn't have one. He went down to the office to tell them he was moving out, he would have to pay the months rent and clean in order to get the deposit back but we weren't too worried about that. He and I debated which side he got in the closet, he settled for left. We put his (our) lamp in the corner and his (our) tv on our dresser. God this whole 'we' thing is hard to get used to but worth it.
We finally settled around 8:30. He made dinner, stuffed bell peppers. I can't remember if I ever made anything in that oven.
We ate on our table, a big contrast to our consistent couch eating which Brendon said wasn't healthy. He smiled when he caught my stare and grabbed my hand in his. I don't regret my decision in fact we should've done this a long time ago
