Ryan's POV
Just when things were going good things actually took a turn for the worse. One day I'm cuddling with Brendon the next I'm in Scott's office, threatening to take back our contract with Fueled By Ramen if I don't get Keltie under control.
You see it didn't start this way at all. Let me take you to the beginning.~~~
"Ryan, the phone." Brendon says irritability and shoves it in my hand, he's quick to get into the house before I could ask who it was.
"Hello?" I ask, closing my lyric book and sitting on the edge of the chair.
"You made a mistake Ryan." A woman's voice said. Keltie's voice. I roll my eyes. She has to be drunk.
"I'm not following Keltie you're the one who didn't want to talk things out.""Don't blame me Ryan I'm not the one who cheated."
"Oh really? So I guess I should forget about all those guys I see you hugged up with at the studio."
"Those are my dance partners, people who I just dance with, unlike your band member....who you sleep with." Her words made something pierce through me.
"What are you talking about?" I say trying to keep on my facade.
"Oh Ryan... you really think you're going to cheat on me and I wouldn't find out from who? Yeah bitch, I have you now." She says sickly sweet into my ear.
"You're a psychopath." I say and with that I hung up, it took me everything not to hurl my phone over the balcony.
"So the bitch knows huh?" I turn around to see Brendon, leaned up against the sliding door frame eating a cup of yogurt.
"This isn't a fucking joke okay, that's our career on the line what if she goes public, it'll be a disaster." I say pulling on my hair. I sit on the chair again head in my hands. Now it took everything in me not to hurl myself over the balcony.
"Hey, hey don't worry about it Okay, she probably won't do anything she was obviously drunk and trying to scare you." He tries to console me by touching my shoulder but I immediately get up.
"You don't know her Bren, she likes to get even. Once, another dancer she didn't like got the part she wanted and she tripped her and made the poor girl break her ankle, Keltie told me this laughing at the fact that girl can never dance again, trust me, she's a crazy bitch." I push past him and grab my car keys.
"Where are you going?" He asks following after me I stop him at the door.
"I just need this time for myself to think okay, try to come up with a backup plan." I didn't wait for him to answer and I shut the door behind me.

Brendon's pov
He slams the door in front of me before I could speak and sprints down the stairs to his car. I almost start to cry. I just don't get why we could ever be normal. I guess it's just that way being famous. I know what he's talking about if Scott were to find out he would put us out on our asses in a second. I never knew why the media is so harsh about who people decide to love.

Ryan's POV
I drive fast, passing mostly every car in front of me. My mind is blank of any ideas of what I could say to her. I go to the spot where I always go where I'm stressed. It's a small park with a large pond and ducks swimming in it. The bench is fortunately empty and I sit down staring at the pond. It's twilight now, almost dark but I don't care. My phone buzzes in my pocket and I fish it out.
"Hello?" I ask with a boring tone.
"Oh so you deleted my number now I'm guessing?" She asks slurring the words a bit so I could barely register what she's saying.
"Yes in fact I did." I stated with the same tone of voice.
"What would management think of you once I tell them you're fucking your lead singer?" She says laughing.
"Don't you fucking dare Keltie."
"Why shouldn't I!? You hurt me Ryan, now you have to pay." She shouts.
"Please, you don't understand I loved you Keltie." Her laughing stops. "Yeah, I loved you, but I loved Brendon since the day he walked into my life and I can't lose him. Yes I cheated, yes I will never be able to pay you back for the love you had for me, but please I'm begging you if you have a heart you will not go public on this." I say almost out of breath. She stays quiet for a uncomfortable period of time.
"Goodbye Ryan." With a soft click she's gone. I slouch my shoulders and rub my eyes with my fingers. My head is pounding.
I walk around the dark and quiet park, passing a group of teenagers playing basketball. I remember when I used to play. I was never good but tall enough to dodge anyone who got in my way. I miss how carefree I used to be. I put my head down and walk to the car. This time I drive slowly home.
I get there and the lights are out. I feel my way into the dark living room almost bumping into the lamp but make it successfully into my room. The moonlight casts onto him. He's facing away from me peacefully sleeping. His arms moving up and down slowly. I take off my shoes and strip down to my boxers and lay down next to him. Immediately he turns around and envelopes me into a hug. I squeeze him back tightly and I feel him shudder slightly. I pull back to find him softly weeping.
"I'm not going to lose you am I?" He whispers into my neck, now damp from his tears. I shake my head and wipe away his tears with my hands. I lift his chin to kiss him and pull him against me, resting my chin on his head."Never." I whisper back. We stay his way until I feel him relax and snore lightly into my arms.
"You're my boy, always will be."~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
AN
I know this is short but I will continue it on in the next chapter.
Just a side note: In no way or form do I think Keltie is this terrible in real life. It's just fiction and I thought of it on the top of my head. I know he did her wrong I tried to convey that the best I could but yeah that's just more clarification.
Thanks for reading! Give it a vote ilyy😘💕
