"Yeah I- I don't know." I tilt my head down and glare at the empty plate laying before me.
"She doesn't know her age?" Quey confusingly turns to his cousin.
"Excuse her, she's 17. I bought her for Two Million at La Place's auction two days ago. Quey, she reminds me of her..."
My eyes fly open and my head jolts up. I rapidly swing my head back and fourth at the men sitting across from me.

She reminds me of her...

For some reason, those words struck me, and I really don't give a shît that curiosity killed the cat.

"Who are you referring to?" I quietly ask, my heart racing and pounding in my chest.
"I didn't say you could speak." He growls, "-And it's none of your business."

I frowned before talking back and receiving a slap across my face. He stood up and grabbed my arm, dragging me out of the restaurant.
"You really have to learn something." He sighed as he opened the car door and told the driver to take me home and lock me in my room; I kept swearing the whole time.

Whoever he thinks I remind him of, I'm sure I'm nothing like her!

I growled the whole drive, until the chauffeur told me a lil' secret, that is.
"He bought you because he couldn't live without her." The chauffeur stirred the wheel left then right before checking at me through the rearview mirror.
"Who is she?"
"You don't want to know, he developed a mad obsession for her, and he would kill anyone who tries to break it or tell him otherwise."

Okay, so this billionaire buys me because I resemble someone he loved and then lost?!
I find that selfish in every single way.

"Thanks." The car pulled to a stop and before the driver could get out, I was already gone and inside the house, heading towards my bedroom.

I flopped on the bed, like usual. As my eyes searched the plain white ceiling for drill holes and blemishes, an idea popped in my head.

I was going to get out of here by convincing him I wasn't the right person.

I smiled, my plan was the best, and for once, it could work. So I laid there, my heart pounding like a beast in a cage, ready to fight for its life.

"Welcome back Master." I heard small voices coming from downstairs.

This was it, I was getting out of here, I was going to attempt to escape Hell once more.
I was so enthusiastic that I had to admit, curiosity, once again, engulfed me.
