Hazel POV:
I'll be back? I'll be back?! Yeah, of course you'll be back, in two weeks!
I stomped around my room in frustration, throwing my hands up in the air like a child.

It's now been 21 days since my return from the hospital, and now two weeks since Ace left for Thailand. He told me he'd return in one week time, he's still not back. I can't seem to figure out why I'm missing him this badly, or maybe it's just because Hem is with him.
"Hazel?" A sudden feminine voice followed by a knock at my wooden door.
I tried to calm myself down and plastered a smile on my lips as I popped outside.
"That's me!" My cheesy smile matched perfectly with my cheesy tune "You must be?"
"Mirada, Maid Mirada. I'm supposed to escort you to a private restaurant, since neither Mr.Hem nor Mr.Club are home." Her blondish hair swayed along with the heavy puff I instantly let out.
"Just a second." I slammed the door on her smiling face and in a matter of seconds, opened it back up to see her still smiling.
"You're very fast, dear." She glanced at my jeans and T-shirt I had managed to pop on.
As we headed towards the restaurant by foot, I couldn't help but question her.
"Soo, you must know Hem, right?"
"Y-yeah, he's a nice guy. Why?" She always had that smile between her perfect white teeth.
"You guys must get along great. I mean seriously, you look the same, you talk the same way, you guys are literally always smiling. Oh, are you two dating?"
"Heck no! He's my brother for God's sake!" She laughed, showing off her glowing set of white pearls.
"Aw that's too bad." I ridiculously imitated Hem's voice as I gave her one of his usual smirks "Master would of wished you two to get together."
"So I'm not the only one who thinks he overuses the word "Master"!" She exclaimed whilst opening the restaurant door.
"Oh no, you aren't, don't worry."

She motioned me towards a circular table that already had 4 others around it.
As I took a seat amongst the strangers, they all welcomed me with a hand shake.
"Caroline and Dill, Taylor and Mark." I hesitated trying to pin their names into my brain. It was pretty easy, Caroline and Dill looked alike, and they just happened to be engaged whilst Taylor and Mark were married.

We chatted the whole meal about the city and its inhabitants, the delicious types of food, the gotta-visit museums and Mr.Club. I mean of course we did, they apparently have the same reputation.
All rich, dangerous, and beautiful. How could they not talk about their role model?!
"After what he told us, he bought you, is it true?" Caroline was the only one I didn't appreciate talking to. Her furious green eyes hung beneath a set of pitch black brows. She kind of scared the crap out of me.
"2M to be precise." I acted like it was a good thing -even though I never wished to be owned by some abusive man-, I was just trying to make her jealous.
"That doesn't surprise me, he bought a girl that resembled you for 1M last year." Dill accepted the fact Caroline was now a burning flame, probably ready to strike at any time.
"What happened to her-"
"Some say she took her life, others say he spared hers." Caroline was now smirking. She arranged her furious black and white hair whilst eyeing me up and down "I'm sure he'll keep you a bit longer though, right up until he finds a better actress, and then poof, you're dead."

Her witch-like laughing buzzed through my ears, making me feel nauseated and partly deaf.
"Caroline!" Taylor shoved a loaf of bread in her mouth, "Stop that, how old are you? Don't worry Hazel-"
"4." Caroline pulled the food out and repeated herself as everyone glared at her, "Hazel Number 4. W-what? She is the fourth after all, and just like IPhones, when the 7 comes out, the owner ditches the 6. When the 8 comes out, the 7 joins the 6. It never ends."
"She has a point," Mark intensely stared me down, "If anything ever happens, Taylor and I live on 42nd Street, right by the tallest skyscraper Venuz."
"T-thanks." My head hung low, I didn't want to draw anymore unwanted
attention. "Mirada, aren't I supposed to be back by 3? Maybe we should go."
Out of the corner of my eye, I could see her wink at me. "Oh dear, we should go. Thank-you all for coming, Hazel needed to chat a little, right?"
I stood up without answering and casually walked out the door, Mirada following closely behind.

"Sorry, I had no idea Caroline was like that. Mr.Club wanted me to introduce you to them, I should've refused his order."
I sighed. "Don't worry, it's not your fault, besides, I met you and Taylor."
She smiled. "You're sweet. One day, you'll look back at this and you'll be like: man, I could've punched him right there, pushed her right then, said this when he said that..." She started swinging her fists sound at an imaginary opponent.
"Are you trying to get me in trouble, Mira?" I teased by playfully pinching her ribs.
Even though she seemed to be around 30, she had the characteristics of a 6 year old.
"Mira is bold, I usually go by Damia."
I shrugged. "Not my fault you look like a Mira."

The rest of the walk was silent, a good silent. Not the kind that's embarrassing, or the awkward one, but the kind that ends on a good note, the kind that makes you feel satisfied from just having a great talk.

She opened the double doors as a random raindrop landed on my nose.
"It's supposed to rain tonight, I'm guessing that means no midnight strolls for you."
"Sadly, I'll just have to stroll around the house. Don't worry, I'll avoid the basement and the private downstairs bar." I slipped off my boots and jumped on light grey corner couch.

I've recently had the time to wander around, I mean it has been 2 weeks.
Even though I'm not allowed to visit the basement that's right next to the minibar, I know this house enough to never get lost. The upstairs has Ace's room, my room along with 4 others and a few dorm rooms for the maids, servants, cooks and all. There's an entertainment room upstairs, and a balcony that joins the roof along with Ace's office.
Downstairs, there's the dinning room, kitchen, living room, bathroom, library, billiard room and a conference room. There's also the garden, which I found out had several pools, jacuzzis, and even a golf yard. As for the basement, I only know there's the room I got locked in, a minibar and supposedly a small research lab.
I still don't get why the house is so big if only Ace lives here. I mean he has so many servants and maids all to himself, yet, he hasn't had any big amount of company over.
