I roll around and comfortably position myself.
"What time is it?" I demand a response, but since I'm alone, I don't get one.
I clumsily lean up, causing my tired eyes to sort out the numbers on the bedside clock.
13:43 pm.
Oh, I guess I missed breakfast. As I sit up, head towards the shower and step in it, turning it on, I realize I'm still in my dress from last night.
"God help me!" I scream, making fists with my hands.
The redundant drops of water from the shower trickle down onto my sparkly expensive dress. Oh well, at least I won't have to wash it, too.
As I start to shampoo my hair, I realize it's rather sticky, and find out I just used body gel.
I sigh and step out of the shower, completely forgetting I was soaked and still covered in body wash.
As I dry myself up, I notice thanks to the mirror I'm vey pale, and a nausea feeling settles in my stomach.
I lean down besides the toilet and hurl, letting out a yellow and white liquid escape my traumatized lips.
I cough until it's all gone, making my hands shake.
As I grab the floor rug to wipe the vomit off my mouth, I realize it's all wet.
Shoot, I must of used this to dry my body instead of a towel...
This really isn't going to work out."Hazel?" I quickly finish getting dressed and open my bedroom door.
"Oh, hey Mirada." I walk pass her and down the white, marble stairs.
"You slept long. You also missed breakfast." She sounds rather disappointed as she opens the kitchen door. "We have guest for lunch."
"I see." I take a deep breath and walk in, spotting Caroline, Dill, Taylor and Mark.
"Hello." Taylor stands up and vastly embraces me. "I looked for you yesterday, where were you the whole time?"
"Dancing, drinking." I take a seat next to Caroline.
Ace growls. "With who?"
Sh!t, I didn't even notice him.
I improvise, smile, and pick up my silverware. "No one."
"Oh sweetie, we all saw you with the badass Mr. Ziho. It's okay to enjoy yourself every once in awhile." Caroline's words made my heart leap.
"B!tch." I whispered under my breath.
"Mr. Ziho?!" Mark, Dill and Taylor were all glaring at me, mouths wide open in bewilderment. "Why was he even at the party, and most importantly why was he hitting on her?!"
"I was f*cking drunk!" I rapidly stood up, making the table jerk forward and knocking over some wine glasses. "Apparently a$sholes like Caroline had nothing better to do than spy on me the whole damn night."
"Hazel!" Ace jumped up from his seat. "Go upstairs until you learn how to speak without cussing every other word."
His roar echoed through my ears, making me turn beat red.
"Fine! I'm not even hungry. Caroline ruined my f*cking appetite." I backed away from the chairs.
As I passed by Ace, he gripped my arm and whispered to my ear. "When will you learn?"I broke free from him and rushed out the dinning room, wild tears streaming down my red face. His iron grip left a physical mark, but his words left a mental hint of fear running around in my head. What if I woke up in the basement again?
I'm sick of this place; just when you think everything's going great, something terrible happens and ruins it all. Ace was getting on my nerves."Wait up!" Hem's voice followed after me. "Hazel!"
I spun around. "What now?!"
"You need to come with me, now." Hem took my arm and started leading me somewhere.
"Let me guess, he sent you to lock me up in the basement with that creature?"
"Close enough, I just wish you the best. Seriously, don't kill yourself." He opened a door revealing a King sized bed beautifully decorated with grey ornaments and silk curtains.
"His room?! So he's gonna lock me up in his room?!" I cried as Hem shut the door on my face, leaving me alone.
I laid on his bed, sobbing and letting sleep get the best of me.
Just as my eyes were closing, the door swung open causing me to jump.
"What are you doing? I didn't say you could sleep." Ace walked in and closed the door behind him.
"Oh, do I also have to ask you permission to breathe?"
He crossed his arms. "Get up."
I rapidly stood up and mimicked a sergeant. "Yes, sir."
He closed in on me and pushed me over onto the bed. "Stay."
As I rolled my eyes, he moved into the opposite corner of the room and started unbuttoning his white shirt. I didn't make a noise, it was too embarrassing.
I could only hear the sound of his clothes falling on the ground, and the sound of his fingers shuffling the fabric.
I closed my eyes and felt the bed dip. "Why am I here again?"
"Because I want you here." His voice was the usual cold, heartless one.
Even though it was only 3 o'clock, he wanted to sleep?
As much as my eyes wanted to catch a glimpse of his torso, I stayed facing the ceiling, not giving into the temptation.
I let out a big sigh. "Can I at least sleep if I'm gonna stay here?"
"Just don't snore, it annoys me."
I climbed further up the bed and sure enough, snuggled under the duvet and readied myself for a little nap.
"Do you even know who Mr. Ziho is?" His voice interrupted me from my sleep.
"Yes, well I thought so." I stated before quickly catching myself back up. "-and I was drunk when I... You know, I was unconscious. Not my fault he's a bastard who goes around kissing girls just for the fun of it."
He placed his hand on my waist and made circular motions; it was kinda soothing.
"You could have told me."
"No, not after what you did to me. I remind you I was drunk." I puffed, letting air escape my lungs.
"What?" He cluelessly laughed, making the bed bounce up and down. "After I told you you shouldn't be drinking? I also deserve a "you were right", by the way."
"No! After you left me 2 weeks alone, without Hem or anyone to entertain me. I didn't even know my way around the house!" I snapped at him whilst rapidly jolting up into a sitting position.
We stared in each other's eyes until he softly chuckled. "Did you miss me?"
"What no! I-I w-was just lonely, ok? In fact, I'm merely mad at you, you idiot."
"Language Hazel, and yes, I understand. Next time, I'll leave Caroline with you, she'll do the entertaining job." He laid back against the bed frame, flexing his abdomen, practically calling my eyes to look at his perfect toned muscles. I blushed as I realized I couldn't look away.
"What? See something you like?" He questioned, his eyes tracing the curves of my hips. "No!" I awkwardly slouched over, falling head first in my pillow, barring my face in It's cushiness, leaving my can straight up in the air.
"You're not to bad yourself." He said it almost like if it was normal, and a slight whimper left my mouth.
I could feel his eyes glued to my ass, so I decided to bring it down by straightening out on the bed.
"Are you expecting a 'Thank-you Master' cause it's not coming." I coughed into the pillow.
"Nope, just thought maybe you'd return it." He laughed once more, and so I turned to face him.
My serious facial expressions set off an intimidating mood. "Okay then." I took a deep breath. "You remind me of a cute tiny fluffy baby chick. You're just so freakin' cute when you get worked up."
His face turned bright red from both anger and embarrassment. "I see."
He got up, slipped his shirt back on and headed out the door. "You're still drunk, Hazel."Meanwhile, satisfaction was written all over my face,
I just made the big bad wolf blush.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
