Mark POV
Happiness, darkness. Silence. Lonely. Can't breathe...
Curiosity, darkness. Chatter. Calm.
Dying...Discomfort, brighter than before? Nerve-wracking.
Help...Pain, searing pain. Light. Hurting. Confusion.
Air!Nuzzling. Care. Stopped.
..?I kept my eyes closed as I began to regain consciousness. I breathed in as much air as possible, feeling out of breath. It felt weird to breathe again, I can't really understand why though. Each breath felt like a scoop of ice cream; I just couldn't get enough of it!
I opened my eyes, deciding that it would be the best thing to do. I decided that I might as well find out who was touching me while unconscious. At first, the world seemed very blurry and fuzzy. After blinking a few times my vision was back to- actually better than before. It seemed like I now had perfect 20/20. "Weird..."
But, I stopped caring about that when I realized I was under the fucking water. I began to internally freak out, questioning why I was even alive. I should be dead! Hell I'd rather be dead then stay in the ocean!
...Wait one second, did I hear that right? Oh yes, definitely.
I heard sobs coming from my right. I have to make sure that person is okay, before worrying about myself. Maybe they could even help me with my "situation". I shifted my body, which was still on the floor, with my upper body strength. My legs felt completely numb, but I'd deal with that later.
What I saw completely baffled me. It was a merman with green hair and tail. He was curled up in a ball. Gills were by his ears and fins were on his elbows and tail. His sobs seemed to echo throughout the ocean. They sounded so hopeless and depressing. I began to feel incredibly sad, pitting the merman. Why am I sad? I don't even know this mer-guy.
Next to the merman, there was a small electric eel. They seemed to be nuzzling the merman, I assume that they were probably trying to make him feel better. It looked like it was working, at least a little bit.
Woah, wait is that the "person" I saw? The Lime Banana? Only one way to find out."Umm... Hey. Are you ok?" I asked hesitantly. The eel and merman quickly faced me, seeming surprised. I made eye contact with the merman. Two amazingly sky blue eyes stared back at me, like a deer in headlights. "It's like they could hold entire galaxies inside them! So mysteriously breath taking. Well atleast I know it's the guy I saw before."
"Oh! Um yeah, I guess." The merman replied shakily. He rubbed at his iterated eyes. He definitely had a distinguishable Irish accent. He's adora- stay focused!
"You sure?" I shifted my upper body, trying to get in slightly more comfortable position.
"Yes, I'm positive."
"Well, I'm Mark Fischbach. It's nice to meet you." I politely introduced myself. I gave a slight wave and chuckle, only now feeling awkward about laying on the sand. You can't trust him yet. Maybe he was the one who did this to you? Well, regardless, an introduction was good way to start, right?
"Mark, huh?" The merman said. "He seems to say it like Maerk. I could get used to that."
"Well, I'm Jack McLouglin. This here," he pointed to the eel, "is Sam. They're a sweetheart. You should've seen them before you woke up, they were all over you!" Ahh that makes sense. Sam made a small dramatic bow.
