(Rebecca's POV)

It was Monday afternoon and currently Scarlett, Loraine, and I were in the school's cafeteria eating in our table. I thought the whole school would be gossiping about the pep-rally and how it had ended, but thankfully everybody had forgotten about it thanks to the football players that is...

Currently, Logan, Jared, James, Liam, and the other football players were the center of attention and many students were around their table hearing on how they had kicked the Ault town guy's ass. Even some security guys and lunch ladies were all into their story!

Thankfully I surrounded myself with cool friends like Scarlett and Loraine and we were currently on our table eating and listening to Scarlett say about how horrible her blind date had gone.

"Loraine lied to Zane and told him I had diarrhea!" Scarlett exclaimed a little too loud that some students that were near us heard and scrunched up their nose in disgust. "Diarrhea, Rebecca! How embarrassing is that!"

"Very..." I mumbled, feeling bad that she had to endure that on her blind date.

"I said I was sorry." Loraine said sheepishly poking at her food with a fork.

I knew Loraine's intentions were not to embarrass Scarlett simply just to help her, but she didn't know how to lie and was what sometimes ruined a good purpose coming from her.

"It's okay Loraine." Scarlett gave her a weak smile. "I mean I know you didn't mean to, but the fact that I have him last period just sucks. He'll probably know me now as Diarrhea girl and not Scarlett..."

"I can explain to him that it was all just a misunderstanding." Loraine chirped right away, trying to clear the mess she had created.

Scarlett shook her head. "No, don't. Just leave it that way. I want to see how he'll react now that he sees me. If I see that it doesn't bother him and what not..." she paused for a second and smiled deviously. "Then I know he's worth going out with."

That was smart of her.

Testing a guy without him knowing was genius. If the guy passes the test then the girl knows he's worthy of being a boyfriend. If he fails...there's not a re-test he can take, unless that is if the girl is okay with it.

"You should definitely do it." I agreed with Scarlett. "If he doesn't act childish about the whole diarrhea thing then he's definitely a keeper."

"Oh my gosh!" Loraine exclaimed excitedly. "Yes you should! And I should totally test James! But I'm pretty sure he would be worth going out with anyways."

I giggled.

It was only a matter of time James and Loraine started dating. I was almost sure he had a crush on her just like she did with him. Every once in a while I would catch him stare at her while walking in the school's hallways or in last period as well. If only I would play cupid like Loraine did... Still, I didn't think it was my place to interfere between whatever relationship they had. If they were meant to be, then they were meant to be.

"So Rebecca," Loraine looked at me. "From what I heard from my brother your week seemed to have sucked."

I rolled my eyes and glared at a certain football player who had managed to piss me off.

"Don't even remind me." I stared back at her. "Let me just say that Logan literally ruined my weekend."

"I'm sure he did." She nodded while Scarlett only looked at Loraine to keep on going with the conversation. "He was laughing on Saturday so much when I got home."
