Love

"Doctor." I shoot him a sharp stare.
"What, Cooke?"
"You said you don't use weapons!"
"Oh..."
"How are we supposed to win the war then?" Laughs Christa.
"My negotiation skills!" Answers the Doctor, pulling us out the tent and into the field.

The silurian in front of the pack drops her weapon and signals to the others to follow her suit. 
"Doctor? Is that you?" She whispers.
"Yes! Hello Vastra how are you?" He laughs.
She shoots him an evil look.
"So, why are you spending your time at war with the humans,eh?" He asks.
"The apes have taken over our planet."
"These apes of yours are in fact intelligent homo sapians that live here and have evolved to build what we call earth today... in 2097!" Replies the Doctor.
"They took it away from us"
"No. they have evolved." Says the Doctor.
"The planet is ours!" Says vastra.
I butt in.
"Why can't we share the planet?" I demand.
"Who gave you permission to speak?" Asks the silurian.
"I did," says the Doctor, "she has my permission to speak at all times."
"And, no, we can't share the planet there's no room." She says.
"For you." Laughs Cai.
"Look. I know a planet where you'll be safe. There's plenty of space and the people there are friendly.
"Are their apes?" Shouts on of the silurians.
"Nope."
"We aren't moving." Vastra is adamant.
Suddenly, another Silurian steps forward, he looks like some kind of doctor or scientist.
"Hello!" The Doctor smiles.
"Nice to see you, Doctor. I would like to know more about this planet." Says the scientist.
"Well, it's called Cathak, its big, it has oxygen.  It's perfect for you because there are so many underground tunnels."
"Well..." says the scientist, looking at Vastra. Vastra turns away and is moody.
"We will take it!" Shouts the scientist.

We spend the next day taking the silurians to Cathak in the TARDIS. After we finish, we all sit down and have a drink.
"That was stressful!" Laughs Cai.
"Yeah." I answer.
"So, Cooke. 8 days until I regenerate." Smirks the Doctor.
"Stop! I don't need reminding! It's all I ever think about now!" I frown, giving him the evils.
"Don't worry, I know how to say goodbye."
"Whatever you have planned, im excited!" I smile.

The Doctor drops Cai and I home. When we get to cais house in London, he looks at me and says, "I thin we should see each other again." I nod, "I'd like that." Cairo smiles and jumps out the TARDIS.
"Do you like him?" Asks the Doctor, loudly.
"Yes. I do."
"In that way?" He repeats.
"Yes, I do."
The Doctor laughs.
"You know Cooke, this time it could work. I've seen you fall in love and have your heart broken twice. You've made the right choice!" I smile at him and hug him.
"Please don't go, Doc." I whisper.
