As they approached the door, Dean felt a wave of danger wash over him. But this wasn't due to his hunter skills or born instinct, it was the intoxicating stench of blood which laced the home.

"Oh god..." Dean whispered.

Dean's eyes scattered across the door, along with his thoughts crashing around in his head. He swiftly glanced to Castiel, directing him to quickly prepare for anything and everything that could be behind the barrier.

The larger and harsher of the two seized at the knob and frantically twisted to unlock. Not long after did their bodies follow. But their rampage suddenly halted as their were more shocked with the scene in front of them; or more how there wasn't much of a scene in front of them.

"What on Earth?" Castiel announced. He was just as shocked as Dean was to see that they weren't swamped in blood yet. Each object and the entire room was spotless: even more perfect condition than when they left.

"Lydia! Scott!" Dean bellowed, "Anyone?" yet no voice returned the call.

Dean's palm raced to cover his breathing holes before he was gagged to death. Putting the fragrance of death to one side, Dean strode across the floor searching for a clue or trace that life had been here. But Castiel seemed quicker to the mark.

"Dean?"

"Yeah, Cass?" he answered, but still with his nose bunged up, so sounded like a cartoon character.

Castiel indicated a sketchy looking door in the corner. Any normal person would say it's a normal door for the broom closet. But from the hunters past experiences, cupbaords like these can hold terrible secrets.

The Winchester gave no time for Casiel to tell him to be cautious. He stomped his way to the door and launched it open, barely holding to its edges.

"Shit," Dean said as he clutched to an unconscious Melissa. She was slouched in the corner and swimming in a puddle of her own red milk. "Cass, come here and heal her. I'll go and get Sam." There were too many wounds for Dean to locate the deadliest one (so who better to give the situation to than an Angel).

Dean leapt from his crouching position and awkwardly ran out the door. "Sam, we just got another problem. Scott's mom's in there--" Before Dean finished his sentence that he was informing his brother in on, he noticed a metallic square on the ground inches away from the Impala. He scooped it into his right hand, and his breath was knocked away since it was his brothers phone. But also from his position, he saw Sam wasn't in the car either.

"Sam? Sam!" Dean began shouting.

Tears threatened Dean's emerald eyes. He threw his hands behind his skull and dropped to his knees. A single tear formed at his brim and rolled over from his force. In that moment, he knew his brother was truly gone, once again.

"SAM!"
