          "HOW COULD HE DO THAT?! I NEVER FUCKING KNEW HE COULD DO THAT!!!" Michael shouted at Jason, who was also freaking out.

          "I NEVER KNEW EITHER!!! HOW?!" was the taller killer's response.

          "DON'T ASK ME I WAS ASKING YOU!"

          "HOW THE FUCK DID HE FUCKING DO THAT SHIT WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!"

          "I DON'T KNOW!!!!!"

          Jason finally just took a deep breath, Michael pressing two fingers to his temples.

          "Look, Michael, this is a good thing. Yet a bad thing because Freddy's still out there. We both know that." Jason was looking at Michael, who nodded in agreement. "We have basically no power. If Freddy decides to come after us, we're screwed. We're mortal."

          "Oh really I didn't notice." Michael sassed with a bored expression.

          "Now listen here sassy!"

          "Look, I'm sorry. It's just... weird. I feel like I'm sick, but I know I'm not."

          "Yeah, it's the whole no-more-immortality thing." Jason smirked lightly at his killer, who sighed, looking down. Jason walked over and draped his arms onto Michael's shoulders, and Michael looked up at him. Jason shrugged, and Michael was about to face-palm, but some water touched his foot. Michael jumped; the water was freezing! Jason looked down, and saw the trail of water coming in from the doorway. He and Michael walked outside, and when Jason came to the water's edge, he felt the overwhelming voice echo in his head:

         Jason looked to the lake, which seemed to brighten in response. Jason smiled. 

          "What did it say, Jay?"

          "We're not exactly screwed anymore." Jason smirked. Michael's eyes widened, and a smile grew on his face. "Thank you, lake!" Michael said, and Jason suddenly kissed him. Michael blushed, but returned the small kiss. Jason pulled away, smiling. Michael smiled back.

          For the next few weeks, Jason and Michael just got used to the idea of being human. Such as:

If you don't eat enough or drink enough, you'll get sick.

          Michael was the unfortunate one who had to experience this. He woke up sick to his stomach, running to the bathroom and slamming the door. He threw up terribly, and Jason was on the outside of the door. When Michael was done, he just sat there, taking deep breaths.

          "Mikey..?"

          "Yeah..."

          "Are you okay?"
