When I woke up I felt a deep pain in my chest, and an annoying sunlight to a beautiful butterfly. I stop to breathe for the first time and realize, that this is not an obnoxious fantasy. Shortly after, it was more than obvious what Yuki had done.
"Father."
I touch my face in realization of this beautiful cruelty that Yuki has given me as a gift, commonly known as human life.
"What, why did she..." I whispered to myself.
"Her last goal was to give you life. Here you are."
"Her? Yuki is that...no you-"
"Ai Kuran."
"Ren Kiryu."
I instantly felt the salty tears in my eyes and I chuckle into bitterness.
"Father, I can't even imagine how you must feel..." Ai whispered.
"Kaname, this was her wish there is no going back you must know that yourself." Said Ren.
"You are Zero's son, no doubt and you..."
I saw her face slowly grow in tears into my embrace.
"Father!" Ai sobbed.
I held her for a while.
"Are you not the hug type like your father?" I said as I opened my arms to Ren.
He quickly embraced me as well.
"I'm sorry you have to deal with this old soul. I did not imagine Yuki would do something like this..." I said to both as I stared at the sunlight.
Ren shaked his head in my chest.
"Its fine, we were prepared for this. We're glad you're here." Said Ren.
"I could never hate you Father!" Screamed Ai.
We hugged each other for a few minutes.
"So, I guess you must be deadly curious about how the world looks." Said Ren.
"What year is it?" I asked.
"It's best if we tell you later, common' let's go home." Said Ai as they guided me to a new century.
