into the fields

well, the last chapter was useless considering only one person read it....
anyway, like my online sketch of our little nico?

Will was beyond bored. It had been a week since the whole incident in the woods, and the bubbly son of Apollo wanted to talk to Nico more than anything else. So he roamed through the strawberry fields, where a son of Dionysus was in a crop-growing competition with a daughter of Demeter. Will wisely avoided that path towards the center of the field, and started to pick strawberries.

It was the early morning, and few were out of their cabins, as breakfast and morning activities hadn't begun. So the son of the sun god walked along the strawberry fields in the morning sun, this sunny day.

He held a basket in one hand, and started plucking strawberries from the shrubs with the other. As he made his way through the strawberry shrubs, Will tripped on something. It looked almost like a foot....

Will mentally cursed the Hermes cabin for not removing the fake feet from all over the camp, something they were supposed to have done a few months ago. Will, proceeding with caution as always, tried to pick up the leg, and realised with a start that it wasn't a fake leg.... it was an actual leg, attached to the sleeping body of Nico di Angelo, who was very much alive.

This little occurrence caused the son of Hades to wake. And, like every other demigod, Nico did not appreciate his beauty sleep being interrupted.

"What in the actual name of Hades, Solace? Didn't you see I was sleeping? And you can talk to me now."

"I thought it was one of the fake legs that Hermes cab--"

Will heard a choking noise coming from the other camper. Nico was laughing! William Solace had made Nico di Angelo laugh! Although Nico was laughing at him, and not with him; that really wasn't something he should be proud of, but that didn't stop Will. "I thought," Nico managed to choke out, "that you were a doctor." He then erupted into a fit of giggles. "You can't even tell a fake leg from an actual one... ahahahaha! So much for 'doctors orders!'"

"Nico," Will whispered quietly, because whispers are supposed to be quiet. "Nico. Be serious for a second. And listen. Listen to me. I like you too."

hehe. notice the word choice? like, not love. mwahaha. will doesn't love nico yet. (i hope i didn't say that he did in a previous paragraph...
