"Rise and shine, sweetcheeks!" Jerome yelled and threw a pillow at my face. I groaned and threw the pillow at him with a huff. "Why?" I asked dryly as I restrained from trying to choke the life out of him. "We've got a job to do, it's time for the show to start, darling," he said, I rolled my eyes and covered myself with the blankets. He threw another pillow at me, "Alright, I'm up!" I said and threw the bedsheets off. I walked to the bathroom, and closed the door in front of him. "You're not gonna let me in?" He asked from outside the bathroom, "Figure it out, genius," I replied.
After doing my morning routine, I took a look at the outfit they had prepped for us. The ugly striped suits, disgusting. Stripes were never my best look; great, I'm gonna look like a fat zebra.

Theo sent us to the top of the Gotham Gazette, we kidnapped a bunch of poor johns and put them in straight jackets. Me and Dobkins spray painted letters on the men's straight jackets as they begged for their lives through their taped mouths. "Alrighty, done!" I said, and threw the spray can away. Aaron grabbed the guy and threw him off the rooftop, as I looked around, I spotted Tabitha on the rooftop of a building making sure we did our jobs correctly.
"Guys what do we do with the spare?" I heard Dobkins ask, "Oh shit, we do have a spare," I said as I looked back, "I know—" Jerome grabbed the spray can and began to paint an exclamation point on the man.
"Aaron would you kindly?" Jerome asked, Aaron threw the man of the roof we all went to the edge to see what it looked like.
"Now that's a headline," Jerome said and gave his signature maniacal laugh. I smiled at the job well done, I would've been happy like the others if it wasn't for the fact that I started to feel a bit light headed. I started getting dizzy and my body felt like a hot oven I wanted to crawl out of."June?" I looked up and saw Jerome crouching in front of me, lifting up my face and looking at me with a worried expression. The rest of the guys stared at me with a concerned look on their faces, I managed to stand up but it was too much and then everything went dark.
Jerome's p.o.v
I watched as June started to blackout, Aaron helped me grab her, she almost went over the edge of the building. "We gotta get back to Theo, Aaron, carry her, " I told Aaron, he nodded and picked her up. We went back to the penthouse, "I'm glad you got the job done," Theo said, Aaron placed June on a couch in front of Theo. "What happened?" Theo asked.
"Juniper fainted," Dobkins said, I rolled my eyes in annoyance, I hated that weasel sometimes, he just really gets on my nerves. Theo bent over June and touched her forehead.
"It's just a fever," He said, I sighed in relief, "How long has she been sick?" He asked. I shrugged and said, "She started acting weird a few days ago at Arkham,""Ah, I see..." Theo said, he had a strange look on his face, like he knew something about her that I didn't. "Take her to her room, I will have one of the finest doctors in Gotham take care of her," he said, Aaron picked up June and took her to our room. This man is giving me more reasons not to trust him.
June's p.o.v
I woke up in me and Jerome's room. I looked around for Jerome but instead I found Theo, standing near the door, staring at me. "What do you want?" I asked wondering how long he's been watching me. "The guys are out doing some errands, and the doctor left just a moment ago..." He said. "Still doesn't answer my question," I said.
He walks towards me and I back away into the bed, "You passed out today on the job," he said. Dammit... "I'm just sick, probably just the flu or something," I said, he chuckled and responded, "I'm not so easily fooled, I had some blood drawn from all of you once you got here,"
"You're pregnant," he said, my eyes widened and I shook my head. "N-No, you're lying, I can't get pregnant," I said refusing to believe what he's saying. "Apparently, its quite the opposite, you ARE pregnant," He said, "Its sad though... I'm not through with you, I still have a use for your abilities," I looked away and thought about what this meant, then I thought about what he said... He knew since the beginning... "You said you would take care of everything, you mean doctor bills, vitamins, stuff like that?" I asked.
He nodded and said, "And all for the small price of committing a few murders for me." I nodded and said, "Fine, I'll do your dirty work,"
He clapped his hands and said, "Wonderful, I knew I did the right thing choosing you," He headed towards the door and left me alone with my thoughts... What the hell am I going to tell Jerome?
