Chapter 30 'Stolen'

"Hello boys" I said. They turned to look at me. "Juniper?" Harvey said. "The one and only," I said as I stood up with my arms open. "Aren't you supposed to be dead? I thought Jerome killed you," Jim said.

"Rumors, silly little rumors, Jerome and I are.... going through a rough patch in our relationship, he tried to kill me...so I sent him back to Arkham," I said. "Anyways, I have to go," I said. "Wait! A little help please," Jim said.

"Have at it pigs!" I said then I made the lights flicker once I escaped I left the door open.
The night started to fall in Gotham. I heard ruckus in an alley way. I stopped jumping buildings to look at what was happening and I saw Selina. I smiled to myself and jumped off to land behind Selina.

"Do you think they have a licence?" I asked. Selina was startled and tried to hit me with her whip, I raised my hand, focused and used my powers to stop the whip from hitting me.
It fell to the floor in its tracks. "God, Val, you can't sneak up on me like that" she said as we hugged. We ended the hug and I said "So, you and Tabitha finally working together?"

"Yep, pretty much" she said. "Have you seen Nygma?" I asked. "No, not for a long time," she said. "Hmm, its not like him to not murder anyone without making a big deal about it," I said.
"Selina, never turn your back on an enemy unless you're sure he's down," I heard a voice say behind me.

I turned around to see Tabitha. "Oh my god. June," Tabitha hugged me tight, almost squeezing the life out of me.
"There goes my spine," I said. Tabitha let go off me. "Hey, let's get some pizza, like the old days" Selina said.

"Im down" I said. So we went to get some pizza and went to Selina and Tabitha's apartment.

As we entered I heard Tabitha said "If you steal my pepperoni again I will cut your finger off" I laughed as Selina said "So what you're saying is do steal your pepperoni again?"
We laughed until we saw Zsasz come in. Selina got out her knife and Tabitha too, I took out my gun just in case. Zsasz raised his hands up and said "I come in peace"

"Well, time for me to take my leave, I'll leave you to it," I said as I headed towards the exit.

I climbed the building until I got to Jerome's cell. I made the lights flicker and got inside the cell, I turned the camera off.

"Jerome," I said. He turned around. "June," he said as he stood up.
"What're you doing here? " He asked.
"Just checking on you, although you don't deserve it after what you pulled," I said, he rolled his eyes and said, "I already said I was sorry,"
"Yes well, almost everyone in Gotham thinks I'm dead because of you," I said, he stayed quiet, I sighed and grabbed his hand through the bars of the cell.
"How's Atlas?" He asked, rubbing my hand with his thumb

"He's stuck in a toddler stage for now... The aging process hasn't sped up but I won't be able to tell what'll be his permanent form," I said.
"And Orchid?" He asked, "Orchid... She's stuck in preteen... You have to clean up your act, Jerome, or they'll be gone forever," I said, he nodded and placed a kiss on my hand, after that I went home to my kids.

I got home and saw El washing the dishes. "Hey El," I said
