I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing on the night table next to the bed, I answered the phone.
"Hello?" I said through the phone.

"Outside. Now." said Kathryn then she hung up. I got up carefully so I wouldn't wake up Orchid. I grabbed my robe and went downstairs. I looked out the window and saw a black limo outside.
I closed the door to my house and I went towards the limo, the door was open so I got in, I closed the door.

"You have balls coming back here," I said
"Jim is investigating isn't he?" she asked
"Yes, I didn't tell him anything," I said
"Good, to repay you for your silence your family will be spared from the Alice Tetch virus," she said

"Good, after this whole mess ends I hope to be granted a way out of Gotham, privately" as I said that her eyes widened, she seemed suprised.

"You cannot leave Gotham" she said
"Why not?" I asked
"Because there is no court of owls outside of Gotham," she said

"And?" I asked.

"Dr. Valleta, you can't just leave the court of owls, at least not alive" She said.
"None of you is powerful enough to stop me, once there's nothing here for me, I will take my partner and children out of Gotham," I said. She nodded and I went back into my home

The next day.

I went to see Jerome once again, he walked into my office and sat down in front of me. "You look like crap, babe," He blurted.
I chuckled and said, "Your child is keeping me awake at night,"
"Orchid?" He asked, I nod and he tries to hide his laughter.
"Its not funny! I'm exhausted," I said.
He grabs my hand and says, "Well, there's not much time left till my next freedom date, after that, I'll be able to stay home and take care of you." I smiled and rubbed his hand with my thumb.

"Has your face gotten any better?" I asked. "Yes, the stitches stopped hurting a few days ago, makes life less miserable," He said.
I smiled and said, "Good, because it means I can finally do this," I got up and placed a kiss on his lips, before turning off the camera in the office.
