Chapter 5: The Scientist

P.O.V. Crimson

I sighed as I looked at the several papers in front of me. I then heard the door behind me open and turned to see Brain Drain looking at me. "Crimson, I have brought you here to ask you a question," he said looking at me.

"Oh well what is it?" I asked looking at him.

"How much do you know of the Sion of Chromatus," Brain Drain asked looking at me.

"You mean King?" I asked looking at him. When I said this he seemed a little surprised and looked at me.

"Glad to see that you are already aware of his existence,"  he said looking at me. He then placed several papers in front of me and I sighed seeing this. "We've gathered some information on him please read I've this and once you're done come see me I may have a job for you," he said looking at me.

He then walked out of the room and I began to look at the papers. As I read over what we had gathered about him I started to become a little excitement. As I continued to read I started to get more and more excited. So much so that I bit my thumb to try and calm myself down.

I got up after I finished reading this and went to the room the Brain Drain was in. When I walked in I looked at him. "Are these reports accurate?" I asked looking at him.

"Indeed, I was there so every word specified in the reports are to an exact detail," he said looking at me.

"If these are true then he's even more amazing than I thought he was!" I said looking at him. "Such power, such prowess," I began as I felt my legs start to become a little weak. "The thought of it makes me tremble," I said as I felt my body start to shake.

"Judging by your reaction I assume you'll say yes to this offer. However I feel as if I should feel you in on the details first," he said looking at me. When he said this I nodded and looked at him.

"I have recently received information that he will be coming to the Canopy Kingdom. I've heard he's supposed to meet someone. I'm not sure who he's meeting or where but I want you to observe him as closely as possible," he said looking at me.

When he said this I looked at him. "Yeah I'd be glad to keep an eye on him," I said looking at Brain Drain.

"Good, feel free to do whatever you deem necessary to gather more information on him," Brain Drain said looking at me. I smiled hearing this and nodded, I then walked out of the room and started to think about what I could do in order to get him to show his full potential.

I then remembered something interesting that I had seen in one of the reports that I had read. I then started to leave the lab. When I did I walked down the streets and began to look around.

They should be around here and if I hurry then I'm sure that I can find him. As I was looking for them I saw line and looked around. I then saw Eliza and her assistant I smiled seeing this and sighed. I then cleared my face of my obvious excitement.

I then walked up to the male and looked at him. "May I talk to you in private?" I asked looking at him. He seemed a little confused hearing this, but nodded. We then walked away and stopped when we were away from the blood drive. I then pulled out a small picture of King and snowed it to him.

He looked at the picture for a few seconds but didn't seem interested. I didn't want to bore him so I decided to speak. "His name is King and I have reason to believe that he may be trying to hurt Eliza, or possibly even worse," I said looking at him.

His eyes widened slightly hearing this and he took the photo from me and looked at it. I smiled seeing this and he turned his attention to me. "Why would he want to hurt Eliza?" He asked a little confused.

"I don't know, I just thought you may have wanted to know was all," I said looking at him. I then turned around and began to walk away so that he wouldn't be able to see my excitement. "Feel free to keep that picture I've got more of him," I said with a smile as I walked away.

I then hid behind a nearby building and waited for the male to find him for me. However I didn't need to wait long as I watched King walk by me. I began to follow him from a distance as he walked down the streets.

However as I was following him I noticed that King was being followed by the male from before. I bit my lip seeing this starting to get a little excited. I then pulled out a small notebook that I had as well as a pen. I then watched as the two began to fight.

I bit one of my fingers seeing this and started to write down as many details as I could. I continued to watch in excitement as the two fought until suddenly King disappeared. When he did I sighed in disappointment and wrote down what I saw.

This should be enough for now. I can't wait until the next time I get to see him. Who knows how much power he'll display next time. I bit my lip in excitement thinking about what he'll be like if he ever shows all of it.
