P.O.V. Third
King sighed as he walked down the streets of the Canopy Kingdom. He continued until he came to an open field. The field had been destroyed and was covered in dust and a few burn marks. King sighed as he began to wait for the person he was supposed to meet.
He heard a few footsteps behind him and turned to see a female wearing a suit as well as something coming from her back. Seeing this King moved back slightly. "You're not-" he began only for the female to cut him off.
"I know I'm not the person you're supposed to meet but please let me explain," she said looking at King. As soon as she said this she heard a sound that sounds like cracks spreading across ice.
"Okay," King said looking at the female.
"I'm the one that sent the note. I didn't think you'd come if you knew it was from me so I-" the female began only to stop when King spoke.
"No need to explain, I'm sure you have your reasons," King said as he looked around. He seemed a little distressed. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out his pocket watch. "Let's continue this somewhere more comforting," King said as he pressed the button on the side.
When he did a large clock appeared under them and they suddenly found themselves somewhere new. Instead of the dust covered filled that had been scorched they were now in a place covered in grass and flowers. With several tables and chairs scattered around.
"Where are we?" The female asked looking around.
"Somewhere more comforting," King said as he sat down in a chair. "So take a seat and let's talk," King said looking at the female. She nodded hearing this and King looked at her. "So my name is King, but I'm sure you already knew that. So may I know your name?" King asked looking at the female in front of him.
"My name's Painwheel," the female said as she sat down.
"So Painwheel, why did you contact me? As I said I'm sure you have your reasons, but that doesn't mean I'm not interested in hearing them," King said as he looked at the female in front of him.
"Oh, well as you can tell my appearance is, disgusting at best," Painwheel said looking st the white haired male.
"I wouldn't say that, but continue," King said as he looked at the female in front of him.
"I wasn't always like this I was turned into this by . . . by," the female began starting to become angry. She then took a breath and sighed trying to calm herself and looked at the male. "I had heard about you, that you have magic that may rival the skull heart," Painwheel said looking at him.
"In certain aspects," King said as he looked at the female in front of him.
"So what I wanted to ask you was . . . can you turn me back to normal?" The female asked as she looked at the male in front of her.
"Hmm, maybe, it's difficult for me to say without know the details of what happened," King said looking at the male in front of him.
"Well can you at least try?" Painwheel asked looking at King.
"Of course," King said as he stood up. When he did he walked over to her and placed a hand on her. He was then quiet for a few moments before he sighed and looked at her. "I can help but not that much," he said looking at her.
"Why?" Painwheel asked as she looked at the male in front of her.
"You have skullgirl blood in you. I'm not sure how long it's been in you but your body has become dependent on it. I can't take the blood out without killing you," King said looking at the female in front of him.
"Well just do whatever you can," Painwheel said looking at King.
"Right," King said looking at the female in front of him. He then placed both his hands on her and several of the spikes in her body faded away. Her mask also faded away as did some of her scars.
However several of her veins were still easy to see and part of her eye were still black. "That's the best I can do," King said as he looked at the female. Painwheel looked at her hands and saw the veins on her body.
Then felt her shoulders and felt that the metal spikes that were in her body were gone. Not only that but she also felt a weight lifted off her back. "It's probably not what you wanted I know, but it's the best I could do," King said looking at the female.
Painwheel smiled seeing this. She may have been a bit disfigured but she was normal. "Thanks," Painwheel said looking at King. The male smiled hearing this and looked at her.
"Of course," King said looking at her. "Like I said I know it's probably not what you wanted but it's-" King began only to get cut off by the female.
"It's close enough, and you tried, that's all that I can really ask for. After all I wasn't holding out much hope that you'd actually help me," Painwheel said looking at King.
"It's fine, just ask me next time. I would have been here soon if I had known I was meeting you and not them," I said looking at her.
"O-oh," Painwheel said looking at him. King then once again pushed the button on the side of his watch and they both found themselves in the area from before. The area that was covered in scourge marks and dust.
When they reappeared it was day and Painwheel seemed a little confused. "Relax time tends to loose itself in that dimension," King said as he put his watch back in his pocket.
