Laniey takes me to the back of the school and just stared at me like if she was expecting something from me.
"So how's your day been?" I ask, awkwardly.
"Shut up, tell me what happened with Rino."
"But you just told me to shut up, so I guess I won't." I say, walking away.
"Mitsuki, stop playing around just tell me what happened." She says, as her hands are on my shoulders.
"Okay okay, but you can't tell anyone else."
"I promise I won't." She says, getting closer to me.
"So he came over and the rest is none of your business."
"What the hell Mitsuki." She says, hitting me.
"It's time for class so gotta go, see you later." As I'm walking away, without even looking at her I know that she's glaring at me.
Over the weekend when I texted Danny, after everything that happened with Rino, but he was busy so it wasn't a good time for him. As I'm walking to class with 5 minutes to get there, someone pulls my arm towards them and into a lockeroom.
"Hey Mitsuki." Rino says, as I have my back against the lockers.
"What are you doing? I need to get to class."
"I couldn't stop thinking about you after I went to your house."
"Oh wow." I say, with a smile.
"Why the smile?" Rino says, leaning in.
"It's nothing." I immediately grab him and push him against the lockers now. I lean in, as he closes his eyes. "Time for class." I say, walking away as I'm laughing. As I'm walking to class, I know that Rino is probably going to attack me after school after what I did.
As I'm heading out of school, I keep looking behind me just in case.
"Mitsuki!" I hear Danny yell.
"Hey Danny, what's up?"
"You wanted to talk to me about something?"
"Ohh yeah, it would be better at my house though. Do you mind?" I ask.
"That's cool with me." Danny says, as he walks beside me. After walking together awkwardly, I finally speak up.
"So over the weekend, Rino came over and told me something about you I guess." I say.
"Great. What did he say?"
"He said that you have like he just said that you like me." I say, nervously.
"Ohh, that's what he told you." Danny says, breathing out.
"Huh?" I say, as I open the front door to my house. "Do you want a soda?"
"Yeah, thanks."
"Here you go." I say, but as soon as I turn around I see Danny standing right there, staring at me.
"It's true." Danny says, as he closes the refrigerator and gets closer to me.
"Um what's true?" I ask, clearing my throat.
"That I like you." Just as he says that, the doorbell rings and I run to open the door.
"Rino, what are you doing here?" I ask.
"I came to get revenge after what you did to me in the- what's he doing here?"
"Don't worry, it was Mitsuki that invited me over Rino, we just had a nice chat." Danny says, smiling.
"Can I talk to you outside?" Rino asks me.
"Sure." I say, stepping outside.
"Why'd you invite him over?" Rino asks, sounding angry.
"What do you mean why? He's my friend."
"Well he fucking likes you, don't you think he'll try to do something to you?"
"He's not like that."
"How would you know?"
"Because he's been my friend since last year and I know him."
"He better not lay a hand on you." Rino says, as his hands are into fists.
"Why are you so angry? It's not like we're dating anyways." I spit out angrily.
"But you're still mine."
"Says who?" I say, walking inside and closing the door on him, and go sit down on the couch as Danny scoots over to me, as a movie starts playing.
