Chapter Two

Savannah’s POV: Later in the day

I was sorting through boxes when I heard a soft knock on my door.

“Come in!” I called and the door opened. Robin came in and closed the door behind him.

“Hey do you need any help?” he asked running his hand through his hair nervously.

“Sure do you think you could help me put together my drums?” I asked gesturing to the unassembled drum kit in one corner of the room.

I’d played drums since I was about six, piano since I was four and guitar since I was three. I’d just wandered over to them and started playing them.

Zack used to call me his little musical prodigy…

Shaking my head slightly I looked up at a confused Robin.

“Sorry what?” I asked.

“I said sure!” he said and walked over to the corner.

Half an hour later it was all set up as were my guitar stands and my electric piano was plugged in.

“We have a music room if you want to play a proper grand piano?” Robin said standing back to look at our handy work.

“Thanks do you play?” I asked.

“No Thompson's the musical one in the family!” Robin said.

“Great…” I said sighing. Another thing for that pest to bug me about.

“He's a nice guy really he just likes… let’s say a challenge…” he said awkwardly.

“So I'm a challenge?” I asked in a serious voice, teasing him slightly.

“No… uh… I mean…” he spluttered.

“I'm kidding Robin calm down!” I said cracking my first proper smile in days.

“You're really pretty when you smile…” Robin said thoughtfully and I went pink.

“Thanks…” I muttered awkwardly.

“Well um I should be going homework and stuff…” Robin said quickly.

“Yeah thanks for helping…” I said and he left closing the door behind him.

I went back to unpacking my boxes reminiscing as I went.

I saw a big box labelled ‘Zack Memories’ and stuck it at the very back of my new walk in wardrobe under my suitcase.

It got to about dinner time and I heard a little knock on my door.

“Come in,” I called from my bed where I was laying staring at the ceiling.

The door opened and a little head poked in, it was Daniel.

“Savannah I've come to take you down to dinner!” he said beaming at me.

OMG this kid was a cutie!

“Thanks Daniel!” I said and walked over to him.

We went into the hall and he took my hand in his little one.

He led me down to the dining room babbling away about his brothers and school. I smiled and nodded along to his little narration.

We reached the dining room and all the Oliver’s were sitting around the vast table.
