They acted like they cared,

When it was all a joke,

Drowned me underwater so I could choke,

Clawing my way back up to land,

Awakening among the shore,

You left without a goodbye,

a farewell,

Said I was worth nothing,

That I deserved to die,

And I realized it was all a lie,

I chuckled darkly,

Unmasked to the ugliness of the world,

A bite to the leg,

How hard it was,

I realized no one loved me,

Nor did they ever,

And I disappear,

Into the world, forever.
