Strong

Wind swishing through my hair,

As I run through the thick wooded forest,

Hunters, bows ready to strike,

Arrows whizzing through the air,

Hiding in the Ever-Green tree,

Silent, not to make a sound,

Boots hit the ground,

Didn't think I'd make it,

Could barely survive one night,

But mother said I was a strong girl,

I believed her somehow,

Through all of my doubts,

All of my pain, fights, and struggle,

Glad that I made it,

Before I ran out of my precious time,

You see, time is valuable,

That's what made me strong,

Working to be there on time,

Waking up in time,

So I'd never be out of time.
