Smile when you're around,

Feel a tug at my stomach,

Laugh like no tomorrow,

Because you'll never know,

The pain I feel when you're with her,

When she lays her small head on your shoulder,

The same one I fell asleep on,

Last night as we watched a movie,

I snuggled into your side,

Because that was my only safe place,

I thought I could hide,

But you never see it,

You won't think twice,

And the way you look at her,

With those beautiful blue eyes,

Heartache isn't trouble for me,

Knowing you'll never get down on one knee,

Forgot about me, blew me off,

And now we don't even talk,

Didn't give me a second glance,

But you never ended your romance,

That's when my heart had enough,

And it shattered to pieces,

Tears invaded my face,

As I stared,

With pure heartache.
