Chapter 9

Me and Shawn didn't hear my moms car pull up so we were still cuddling when my mom came in seeing us. Both Shawn and I got up and stared at my mom. We were hoping she didn't see us but she did. I noticed my mom didn't know Shawn so I had to interdos them. "Uh hey mom, mom this is Shawn our new neighbor and Shawn this is my mom." My mom and Shawn shook hands and Shawn went back home. Once Shawn left my mom gave me a look that said, "your cheating on Mason?" and I finally spoke. "no mom, Mason cheated on me Shawn was just confronting me." I said. My mom: "oh okay with his arms around you and you hugging onto him?" She asked smiling. "mom, he's just a friend." I said and walked upstairs. Is he? Do I like Shawn? Does he like me? I suddenly got a text that ruined my state of thinking which I was fine with it because I didn't want to keep thinking of Shawn more then a friend. Ugh so much for not thinking of Shawn he just texted me.

Shawn: "that was close haha did she ask you anything?"

Me: "no she just gave me a look and I walked up stairs."

Shawn: "ok well see you tomomorrow, walk to school?"

Me: "yeah come over 7:15?"

Shawn: "yeah okay see you tomomorrow sleep well beautiful!"

Me: "good night Shawn haha."

After I sent that text I turned my phone off and went to sleep. But I couldn't sleep. I just kept thinking of Shawn. Ugh no Sara! Get him out of your mind. You can't like him right now, you just got out of a relationship legit like 5 hours ago. Shawn was just so sweet with me. He didn't flirt he didn't say anything he just sat there and let me cry on his shirt. He stood up for me when Mason called. He is a true gentleman. He's a great friend. Friend? Yes just friend. Finally I fell asleep. I woke up 5:30 again and went along with my normal routine. it was 7:15 and I was about to start my makeup when there was a knock on the door. Is it Shawn? Nah it can't be he said 7:30. I heard my mom opened the door and talk then I few seconds later Shawn burst into my room. "what the fuck?! Shawn its 7:15 I'm not done with my makeup!" I yelled. "sorry I just couldn't wait to you see you and so? You don't need makeup your beautiful without it." Shawn said which made me blushing endlessly. "thanks" I said. "but your gonna have to sit on my bed and wait till I'm done." I said and shoved Shawn on my bed and went back to doing my makeup. After 10 minutes I was finally done and Shawn got up and we left my house walking to school. While walking all I could think of is what happens if I see Mason? Can I even stand to see him. I want to go back home. Shawn noticed I was freaking out and he grabbed my hand and put it in his. "its okay I'll be here the whole time I wouldn't let him do anything." he said. "thanks" I said looking at our hands. He pulled away looking embarrassed aw I felt bad but I didn't take his hand I was just scared. Finally we got to school and I immendialy saw Mason fuck he saw me too. He left his friends and started walking to me and Shawn. I started to freak out. "Shawn, Shawn, he's coming here!" I said freaking out. Shawn took my hand and told me to calm down and he'd take care of it. I was still freaking out even though Shawn holding my hand calmed me down a bit. Shawn rubbed his thumb on my hand which calmed me down. Mason walked over to us. "Sara, please can I talk to you? your still my baby girl." he said. Before I could answer Shawn spoke. " I told you last night, she doesn't want to talk to you leave her the hell alone goddamnit!" Shawn said. " I was talking to the lady okay? newbe. How about you shut up before i shut you up." Mason said. I wasn't gonna let him talk to Shawn like who does he think he is? Finally I spoke. "okay 1. you can't do shit to Shawn because we all he is soooo much stronger then you, and he could beat your sorry ass. 2. Shawn is speaking for me so either way your still gonna talk to him. 3. Shawn already told and he's right i dont wanna tlk to you i told you yesterday that i don't ever wanna talk to you again so leave me and Shawn alone!" I said. Shawn looked shocked I said his name too. Why did I? Mason looked at me and replaid. "so thats it? your just walk away after 3 years? and go to him?" He pointed to Shawn. "wow talk about slut!" Mason yelled and walked away. before he left he wispered in Shawn's ear, "this isn't over i will get you." He said and walked Shawn started to walk after him but i stopped him by holding his arm. "no shawn let him go, He's not worth it." I said and Shawn and I walked Sitenly to class we didn't talk at all. Shawn never left my side until gym. He always held my hand never wanting to let go. I didn't wanna let go either. I think im catching feelings but i can't. Shawn had to go to gym which was his last period i didn't want to leave him becuase he had that class with Mason he promised he would be careful and promised to meet me after so we can walk home. I finally agreed and let him leave. I knew something bad would happen i could feel it. But i let him go i knew he could take care of himself but Mason was popular he had lots of people aroudn school. I didn't want anything to happen because of me. I told Ray and Michael to take care of him because they were in the same class.
