Chapter 10

Shawn and I have been dating for a month now. My dad still home from his business trip. My dad is an agent. He works in the music business. He represents lots of big people. Like Ed shreeen and Justin Bieber, and Selanze Gomez. I miss him so much. I'm getting ready right now because me and Shawn are going to the mall. I got ready and went down stairs. Shawn was sitting on the couch waiting for me. "Finally! Damn you girls take so long!" He looked at me. "Damnnnnn" he said. Aw he was so cute. "Aw your cute." I said blushing. I went over and pecked his lips. My mom wanted down stairs. "Hello Shawn, make sure you bring Sara home early because I have a surprise for her. Of course you may stay for dinner if you would like?" My mom asked Shawn. "Hello, Mrs.Peter, Sure I will bring Sara home early and I would love to thank you." Shawn said. "Mom leave Shawn alone." I said. "What do you mean? Oh and Shawn no funny business please, and if there will be please use protection!" My mom said and giggling. "Uhhh, yes ma'am?" Shawn said confused. "BYE MOTHER, LEAVE SHAWN ALONE!" I yelled and dragged Shawn out the door. "Ignore my mother. Please she's so embarrassing and weird!" I said embarrassed at my mom. "Haha it's fine, I think she actually wants us to do it." He said laughing. We walked to the mall and shopped and messed around and ate. Soon it was time for me to go back home. "Cmon baby girl we have to go back home. I promised your mom." Shawn said and grabbed my hand and walked out. While walking home I was thinking of what my surprise was. "Shawn? Do you know what my surprise is?" I asked him. "No baby, I don't. But I bet it's good." Shawn answered me. When we got home I opened the door to see my dad waiting there for me. "Dad!" I ran into his arms. "Hey baby!" My dad said holding on to me. Shawn smiled. I let go of my dad. "When did you come back? How? I missed you so much!" I said. "I missed you too honey and Ed's tour is over so I got to come home." He said. Shawn stood there awkwardly. "Who is this?" My dad asked starring at Shawn. "Dad this is Shawn, my boyfriend." I said and held onto to Shawn. "Nice to meet you sir" Shawn said shaking my dads hand. "You too son, now treat my baby girl right. Okay?" My dad said. Shawn's eyes got big and he looked like he was about to cry. I saw my dad was pushing his hand. "Yes- yes...sir" Shawn said. "Dad let go of Shawn!" I said and took Shawn's hand. "Dad I will right back okay?" I said. My dad nodded and I took Shawn up stairs. "What are you doing?" Shawn asked. "Are you okay? How's your hand?" I asked. Shawn chuckled. "It's fine baby girl go change and we can go down stairs and you can spend time with your dad. "Okay I'll be right back" I said. I changed in the bathroom and walked out. "Hey I'm gonna go to the bathroom go down stairs I'll be right there" Shawn said. I nodded and walked down stairs. My dad came up to me. "Sara, what happened to Mason? I liked him. What happened? Did you break his heart? He was a great kid. What happened?" My dad asked. "Omg dad, Mason cheated! Why do you want to know?" I asked. "Because I don't think you like Shawn. Are you sure? Is he good to you? I bet Mason was so much better!" My dad said. "Omg! Dad Shawn treats me better then anyone ever has! What the fuck?! Yes I love Shawn and from what I know he loves me. You can't tell me who to date!" I yelled. I could feel my heart beating fast. I can't believe my dad! "Don't talk to me like that! I'm your father! I just want what's best for you and I don't think Shawn is that!" Oh that got me pissed. "Omg! If you were my father you would know that Shawn is exactly what I need! Omg I can't believe you! Fuck you! I'm done." I yelled. "Don't talk to me like that!" My dad yelled I suddenly heard someone run up stairs. Fuck Shawn heard him. "Omg dad! Shawn heard! I will never forgive you for this! I hate you so much right now!" I yelled and ran up stairs. I opened my door to Shawn sitting on bed. He had tears in his eyes. "Shawn, omg!" I ran over and hugged him. "Your dad is right, you deserve so much better then me. I'm not good for you!" Shawn said. "No no no Shawn that's not true. You are just what I want or need. Don't listen to him. I love you and that's all I care about. He can't tell me what to do or who to be in a relationship with!" I said. "I love you too!" Shawn said. "Now lets go down stairs and face your dad together!" He said wiping his tears. "Shawn it's okay we can go out the window and go eat at Taco Bell. My treat." I said. I didn't want Shawn to face my dad. "No I'm not leaving, I have you and I don't care what he thinks of me. I love you and that's all that matters baby." He said. I was proud of him. I pecked his lips and grabbed his hand and walked down stairs. "Let's go do this." I said and Shawn got up and we walked down stairs hand to hand. My dad saw us. "I'm sorry sir but I love your daughter and I intend to keep loving her. I'm sorry if you don't like that but that's not gonna stop me. I want to spend the rest of my life with her." Shawn said. My dad looked at me then at Shawn and didn't say anything for a few minutes. "Okay, but you hurt her remember I have lots of people I know. They do there job very well." My dad said. Shawn's eyes got big. "I'm kidding!" "No no I'm not" my dad said laughing. Shawn let out a awkward and scared laugh. I smiled. "It's okay, he's kidding" I whispered in Shawn's ear. I kissed his cheek and we sat down and ate.
