Chapter 5

Me and Mason were cuddling when suddenly someone opened his door. "Yo man where were you today? your girlfriend asked whe-" Austin stopped talking because he saw me and mason cuddling. Me and Mason immedialy stood up. 'DONT YOU KNOW HOW TO FUCKING KNOCK? DO YOU NOT HAVE FUCKING MANNER?!" Mason was yelling he was obviously pissed. I grabbed onto his arm to calm him down and he calmed down a bit. His body relaxed and so did his face. "what the hell is going on here?" Austin asked. "uh I'm gonna go now. bye" I said and started to walk to the door. "I'll call you later babe." mason said. I nodded and got my stuff and left. While I walked home I thought. Babe? I've never been called that, it was cute. it made smile.

Austin had to walk in and ruin my cuddle section with sara. he even scared her off. I walked over to him and punched his arm. "What the hell? why didn't you fucking knock?" I yeled. "OUCH! oh and I forgot to say this but "babe?" he asked and I just rubbed my neck with my hand and smiled and nodded. "since when the is the ugliest girl in 8th grade your babe?" he asked. That really got me pissed and I walked over and punched him the face. "she's not ugly and she never will be she's beautiful, don't ever say that, asshole!!" "get the hell out, get out!!" I yelled. Austin gave me a look and walked out my house. I called Sara and told her everything went well.

When I got home Mason called me and told me everything went well and we talked about random stuff and he joked and I laughed. He was so cute. Wow I really think I'm falling for him. It was around 11pm and I was really tired so I told Mason I had to go and he said goodnight and we agreed to talk the next day. after hanging up I immedialy fell asleep thinking of Mason. I finally woke up at 5:30 and took a shower, got ready, finished my makeup and eat breakfast. when I got on the bus all I could think of was mason and I smiled while thinking of him. I think everyone knew because well mason is super popular and Austin posted it on snap chat. when I got to school I went to my locker and started to get my stuff when someone covered my eyes with there hands. "guess who?" they asked laughing. "hey mason." I said laughing "hey baby girl." he said. We got our stuff and started to walk to class when we saw Austin. He had a black eye and he saw us too. He was with a few of masons friends and teammates. When mason saw him he grabbed my hand. This is weird. What's going on here? Why aren't mason and Austin talking? Did mason give him that black eye? Nah there best friends mason would never do that. Finally I asked mason. "Mason, what's up with Austin's black eye? Did you give him that? " I asked. Mason looked at me then said. "he said something he shouldn't have and got what he deserved, its okay. Don't worry about." "what could he have said that made you punch your bestfriend?" I asked. I could feel my face getting hot. What did Austin say that made mason punch? Was it about me? I had a million question in my head. "nothing it doesn't matter. let it go okay?" he said. "no no ! I'm not gonna fucking let it go tell me what made you fucking punch him?!" I yelled demanding he tell me. Finally he did. "he said that you were the ugliest girl in 8th grade so I punched him." he said. I could feel tears going down cheeks. I knew I had to get to the bathroom and fast. I started to run away from mason but I could feel him run after me. "Sara Sara!!!" I heard Mason yell my name. but I didn't care. I had to get to the bathroom. I couldn't let anyone see me like this. Finally I got to the bathroom, I went into I stall and started to bawl my eyes out I couldn't take it. Why would Austin say that? He's right though. Mason is popular and the quarterback why would he like me? He's better with that cheerleader that likes him. Once I stopped crying I knew I couldn't go back to my class because I knew I couldn't stand Mason or Austin. So I redo my makeup and go to the office and ask to go home. Once I get home I couldn't do anything but go up to my room and cry. I kept getting texts probably from Mason and my friends asking where I was and why I wasn't at school. It was now like 4pm and no one was home. My dad and mom were at work so it was just me. Suddenly someone knocked on the door. I opened the door to see a sad mason at the door. He walked in and started talking. "baby I don't care what anyone thinks I like you okay? please don't let Austin and my stupid friends get to you. they don't know how I feel but you do. I love you okay? please cheer up!" He said. I was shocked he just said those three words. "i love you" I couldn't talk for a minutes then finally I said. "mason I love you too!" That was it. We said those three words. life couldn't get any better for me.
