Chapter 64

I woke up and Michael wasn't in the room, I walked down stairs. He was in the kitchen with Chloe. I walked in and he looked at me and smiled. I sat next to Chloe and she laughed and handed me a doll. I started bouncing it around, she began laughing when I accidentally made it do a split. She took it from my hand and set it down when Michael handed her a bowl of cereal. He was just staring at me, I was confused. When Chloe was done she left for school. "Talk to me" I yelled at him. "I will when I'm ready! " He said. "What do you mean?" I complained. "I don't wanna mess this up, I'll talk when I'm ready." He said. "Argg" I groanded I went and flopped on the couch. Laura walked in and looked at me. "Why are you here, shouldn't you be in school? " I asked her. She laughed and sat in the chair. "Yea, but I didn't go cause I wanted to talk to Michael about living here instead cause I don't like staying with veronica cause her step dad freaks me out, this chair is mad uncomfortable, but any way. Where's Michael? " she rambled on. "Michael!" I yelled. "Wat!" He yelled back. "Laura's here!" I yelled. He came in the room and sat on the other couch, I rolled my eyes and crossed my arm's. "Why aren't you school, damn you got in a lot of trouble last year for this." Michael said crossing his arm's. "God you can't not be pissed at  anything can you" Laura yelled. "That's true" I added on. Michael looked at me. "Well, why are you here and not in school?" Michael asked. She explained it to him and he said that she could share a room with Chloe, she got mad she couldn't have her own room but she finally got over it. "Can I drive you to school?" I asked. She nodded and we walked out. "Is he always mean to you too?" She asked me putting her seatbelt on. "Sometimes why?" I aske her. "He always has been cause of his dad was to him, but I would've thought as some point he would've calmed down." She said. I thought for a moment. "One day I woke up and he was gone he went and stayed with you guys. Other times he has just gotten mad for no reason but love let's you put aside things like that if you really liked someone. " I said. She looked at me then out the window. "Luke, I don't think I  really like girl's, I mean I've dated one girl but more boys, I like dating boys more though. So would I be straight or what?" She said. I looked at her. "Do you like girl's or boys more? " I asked. "Boys.." she stuttered. "Then your straight.. but if you ever need to talk. Im here.." I said. She smiled real big, she hugged me and got out of the car.  "Thanks" she said through the window. "Any time" I said. I drove back home. "Michael your sister thinks she's straight, she was just talking about it she said she likes boys way more. " I said. He sat next to me and grabbed my hand, I looked up at him and smiled. "Really, her dad always joked she was a lesbian, he always mean to her, she would always try and get in the conversation but no one let her then one day she was a lesbian and she was happy cause everyone was talking to he...r..." He said slowing down. "Oh" he said."that's harsh" I said. He looked at our hands and let go. "Why?" I moanded. He covered my mouth. "Don't do that!" He said laughing. "Then hold my hand and love me. " Calum walked in and started laughing. "Tough love" he sat down in the chair.
