"My lady, how are you going to help Salazar?" Jack questioned.

"There is a way jack but you have to wait, to know that" Athena replied.

"Don't you think he's evil. I mean no offense but he's trying to take over the sea" jack said.

"He's not jack, he don't want this cursed life. He wants to be free like you and me" Athena looked at jack.

"How can you be so sure about that my lady" jack looked at Athena.

"Because I know" Athena folded her arms. Jack could clearly see that, she has no interest in answering him and he feared what she was up to. He knows Salazar was her half brother but he can't be trusted, he is not what Athena think he is.

"I'm sorry my lady, I didn't mean to question your judgement" jack apologized.

"My lady, can I have a word?" Salazar questioned as he appeared out of no where. Jack nearly screamed when he saw him popping out of nowhere. Athena nodded as Salazar gave an evil stare at jack before he followed Athena into the room.

"I heard you are going back to land" Salazar looked at Athena.

"I've to, I've some unfinished business" Athena exhaled as she sat down on the sofa.

"I know why you came here in the first place my lady, you came here to save the sea didn't you" Salazar smirked.

"I did and I've done my job, you are no more a threat upon the sea Salazar" Athena smirked.

"You know me and my crew need to be men again not this" Salazar murmured.

"You will be men again Salazar but give me sometime" Athena mumbled.

"I'll my lady, I'll" Salazar smiled.

"I hope in the mean time you won't disturb the peace of the sea again" Athena looked at Salazar.

"I won't, you have my word" Salazar said as he came forward and grabbed Athena's hand gently as he did he turned slowly to his human self again, he smiled to himself as he felt human again.

"You will be yourself soon Salazar, now go I've to leave" Athena exhaled as she stood up. Salazar nodded and before he left he kissed Athena's head.

Jack was more than glad to see land again, he loved the sea but after seeing Salazar at sea he feared the sea. He didn't want to be at sea anymore and be haunted by Salazar.

"I see you are happier to be on land than on sea" Athena chuckled as she and jack took a walk on the beach.

"I can't hide anything from you, I see" jack chuckled.

"Yes, you can't jack you are too bad at lying. I don't know how the others fall in your trap" Athena looked at him.

"Well maybe.....I'm a good actor" jack smirked.

"But for me you aren't" Athena chuckled "what are you hiding from me jack?" She questioned.

"What?" Jack looked at her puzzled.

"Don't act like you don't know" Athena smirked.

"I'm afraid, I don't" jack furrowed his brows.

"Well! I know your hiding something from me, speak  now before I find out" Athena raised a brow. Jack was hiding so many things from Athena from his feelings, to her past, to Will and even Salazar he didn't know what to do. He was trapped but he knew he couldn't lie anymore to her so he decided he would tell her the truth about Salazar instead of saying everything.

"My lady, I know you will not like what you hear but I'm very sorry to say that because of me Salazar got trapped in the Bermuda years ago" jack said slowly.

Athena looked at him in an unreadable expression Jack stood there still and motionless in both fear and confusion, she was very pretty and not scary at all but he feared her wrath. "I know that" Athena finally spoke breaking the silence "but there's something more, when you came to Olympus there was something in you. Something that you didn't want me to know" she folded her arms.

Now jack was terrified he didn't know what to say, he didn't want to talk about her past or William at all so he decided, he will tell her about his feelings to be on the safer side. "My lady, you caught me for so long I've been longing to tell you this but I never got the chance but today.....I want to confess that I love you, I loved you from the very first moment I saw you on that beach in Bermuda. Years back when you found me but I knew it was never meant to be so I never told you" jack confessed.

Athena just stood there and stared deep in his eyes Jack felt hypnotized by her ocean blue eyes, then she came forward and asked "why did you take this long to confess this?"

"Because I was scared my lady, I always thought you would never accept me and I always knew you deserved better. Where am I and where you are can't be compared" jack words heavy.

"If you have said this earlier jack it would have mattered, you have delayed so much now I even have a son" Athena said slowly.

"Do you mean? We could have ever worked out" jack looked at Athena with hope in his eyes.

"That I cannot say jack, but you confessed it very late" Athena said as she left.

Jack just stood there still shattered and broken, he never thought of the possibilities of him and her but after he confessed his feelings there was hope but it was too late as she said. She belonged to William now even when she doesn't know it and jack felt devastated for the first time.
