The seven seas 2 (A Will Turner fanfic)

The room

Will slowly entered the room as the guards made way for him. The two maids were standing next to the bed when they saw him their eyes widen. He was the most handsome guy the ladies have ever seen. What was he doing there they wondered. That very moment, the third maid entered the room and saw Will "captain" she said as she came forward. Will turned and saw that it was an old lady in her 80's if he hadn't mistaken. "You came for her" she smiled brightly looking at him.

Will nodded his head, he didn't know who she was. He only knew that she was a maid who served there. "Go now" she commanded the two other maids, who nodded their head and left. "I knew you would come" the old lady looked at Will.

"I had to" Will smiled at her.

"You don't know me captain but I do know you, I'm part of the Gem. I'm the oldest member there" the old lady smiled.

"I'm so sorry.....I didn't recognize you" Will apologized.

"No need to my captain. You never saw me" she chuckled a bit "you can call me Margery" she said.

"Very well Margery" he smiled. Then he turned his gaze towards the bed where Athena was.

"Captain I'm sorry to say this, but mi lady has no memory and she has changed" Margery said as she left closing the door behind her.

Will took a deep breath as he walked towards the bed. He could clearly see the long wavy silver grey hair of Athena, that has covered her face. She laid her head in soft pillow and her blanket was all over the bed as she laid under it comfortably. He wanted to call her but he didn't want to wake her up nor did he want to leave without seeing her face. He stood there for a while and then he stepped forward and with his fingers he slowly pushed her hair to her side, now he could her face under the lights of the candles around the room. She was sleeping peacefully and was as beautiful as she always was. After all these time she was right in front of him and tears of happiness filled his eyes as he saw her.

But unable to embrace her his heart dropped a bit. He didn't know what to do at that moment a drop of tear fell from his eyes and hit the floor. Athena moved her brows a bit as if she was disturbed. Then she lifted her hand and rubbed her eyes "jack" she called on a low soothing voice. Oh! How long did Will wait to hear her sweet voice.

"Yes" jack responded as he walked in and pushed Will to the side. Athena slowly opened her eyes and looked up at jack.

"You called" jack smiled.

"I felt something" she murmured.

"You are dreaming" he chuckled.

"No, for real" she exhaled as she closed her eyes again.

"Sleep my lady" jack said as he turned his gaze towards Will, who was watching him irritably.

"Jack" Athena called again.

"Yes, my lady" he responded.

"Don't leave" she said.

"Why? Aren't you sleepy" he asked.

"I've a feeling. I'm been watched" she mumbled. Jack turned his gaze towards Will again who was just standing there with folded arms. Athena couldn't see him because he was behind the curtains of her bed.

"You, are not" jack tried to fake a chuckle.

"But I'm feeling so uneasy. I don't know why. Please don't leave, before I fall asleep" she exhaled.

"Okay! My lady" jack said as he pulled the chair and sat on it.

Athena closed her eyes and began to hum to herself, her humming sounded like the sweet sound of harps and soon jack felt extremely sleepy, even Will felt the same and in no time they both were fast asleep. Jack had fallen asleep on the chair and Will was laying down peacefully on the floor with his head on the curtain as a pillow. Even Athena had fallen again into her deep slumber by the sound of her own humming.

Barbossa entered the room and saw Jack and Will in deep slumber. He shook his head in annoyance and disbelief. "Wake up" he shook Jack, who was not in a state to open his eyes. "Wake up" he shook Will next, who was lying down on the floor. After some few seconds both of them woke up yawningly.

"Where am I?" Jack asked.

"In the lady's room. Now get up! We have to leave" Barbossa mumbled. "And you too" he said looking at Will. Will nodded, he was still in his half dreaming state. As they closed the door behind and walked towards the dinning room both jack and Will were in a kind of hallucination. Shansa chuckled at the sight and made them a drink. After which they woke up feeling refreshed.

"The lady had put you both in deep slumber. I see" Shansa chuckled.

"Yes, she did" Jack murmured.

"But how?" Will questioned.

"The gods have gifts of such kind. She was humming to herself but it affected you both as well, as you were in the same room" Shansa smiled.

"So that's the reason why. The maids who are with her always fall asleep" Barbossa said.

"Yes, they do because when she hums.....it makes us sleepy" Shansa chuckled.

"What more can she do?" Will asked.

"That I cannot say Captain. She have many gifts unknown to us" Shansa exhaled.
