The seven seas 2 (A Will Turner fanfic)

The past

Will didn't really know what Athena meant when she mentioned Zeus but by the horror in the face of the servant, Will understood that Zeus had done something to Athena which she had no knowledge about until she saw him but what was it about Will needed to know but he dared not question Athena. A long silence continued as Athena stared down into the pool motionless and pindrop silence filled the room, the servant has covered her face with her hands and it looks like she's in a deep prayer or meditation which Will couldn't understand.

As he stood there without making a sound slowly, slowly he could see tiny water droplets raising up from the pool and up into the ceiling of the room and as the pool emptied and the ceiling filled with water Athena slowly stood up and got into the empty pool, she rested her body and closed her eyes as the servant quickly pulled Will towards the door. He followed without a question and as he and the servant stood at the door the water on the ceiling began to fall like rain on top of Athena as she hymn a beautiful music like the sound of a harp, the pool was slowly starting to fill up and Will couldn't hold himself any longer he fell down into a deep slumber by the sound of the hymning.

As he opened his eyes he found himself on a bed and a figure standing on the edge looking down on him "my goddess" Will quickly got up from the bed and bowed his head as he saw who it was.

Cecilia murmured "you slept like a dead man"

"I'm sorry I didn't know" he apologised.

"You were there when my daughter hymned, no one can resist her hymning not even the gods" she looked at him.

"Really" Will mumbled.

Cecilia nodded "she's very powerful Will and her powers are growing day by day, we don't know if it's for the good or the bad" she sighs "she's still a very young goddess and this is too soon"

"I don't get it" Will looked confused.

"It was our fault that me and her father both abandoned her when she was a child to rule over the sea and that had made a huge impact on her life. She's not like any gods or goddesses Olympus has seen, one of a kind and impossible to read" she looked at Will "I fear for her"

"I don't have any knowledge about gods and goddesses but I know one thing about her she's pure and kind" Will said.

"Her father was the most feared god on the face of the earth, Poseidon god of the sea with one stroke he could swipe the earth clean and I was Cecilia the goddess of knowledge and beauty. I had so much knowledge on me that even Hades couldn't fool me even though he had fooled his brothers. Me and Poseidon's union was the most respected and high union in all of Olympus and Athena was the light of Olympus, when she was born her grandfather Ares himself came down from his abode and gifted her the face of an angel, her eyes could hypnotise and the sound of her voice could send chills down the spine. There was nothing more precious and beautiful than Athena and Ares himself said one day our little Athena will decide the fate of Olympus itself" she said "but we forgot all those and in our quarrel we abandoned Athena our little gem and she had to raise herself up deciding herself what's good and what's bad not really knowing the true meaning of right and wrong"

Will stood there without saying a word he didn't know what to even say or do, he came for answers and for Athena but now he's more confused than ever what was happening he didn't know and he didn't know what to do.

"When my daughter needed her mother and father we abandoned her, we left her in the dark to face the evils of the sea alone and our return is too late now but you are my hope William she loved you for a reason even though I had made a vow with your great grandfather years ago. I never thought my daughter would fall in love with a turner" she continued "but I'm glad she did because among all the humans I've come across I always trusted turner men always"

"Thank you" he thanked her as he bowed his head in respect as he smiled.

"Now go ahead and talk to her and this time don't fall asleep" Cecilia chuckled low as Will nodded and left the room looking for Athena. In the back of his mind he was still thinking of what Cecilia said to him about Athena and whatever maybe the case he vowed he would save Athena and Olympus till his very last breath.
