Ch.14 Surprise Surprise

1 Week Later............................

I woke up to breakfast in bed. It was bacon and chicken tenders. I smiled at the sight of it. He new I was craving meat but thank god other foods didn't make me sick anymore.

I sat up and ate all of it. Music softly played on the radio. I got dressed and went to see what was up with the breakfast and music.

Once I walked into the kitchen loud screams came from everyone. "Surprise!"

I nearly had a heart attack. Everyone was there. Dylan, Emilee, Hailey, Aaron, Sara, and Brandon. I read the banner above them. "Happy 19th Birthday!!!!!" It read.

"You guys." I said happily even though my birthday was 2 months ago.

"I know it's not your birthday, but I realized that we didn't get to celebrate itso happy late birthday" Hailey said.
I laughed. Hailey went on. "And Brandon told us the news. So congrats!"

She squealed as she squeezed me tightly. "Look at you! I'm going to be an aunt!"

I looke at her and noticed something. She had the mark. My eyes swapped over to Aaron. He had the mark too.

"Hailey, did you........." I began.

She nodded excitedly. "Yep. You should have been there. He screamed like a little girl because of a little spider. He freaked out and claimed that it was huge but when I looked at it, it was one of the smallest I had ever seen."

I laughed with her. Brandon gave us a happy look. "Do you want to take a seat?" He asked.

But before I could answer Emilee interrupted. "Alright birthday girl time for the cake." She announced.

Everyone took their seats as Emilee brought out the cake. It was big. It had a picture of 2 wolves on it. One was black and the other white.

"Oh, wow. This is beautiful. Thank you somuch." I said as I gazed at the cake. It was beautiful. "It's a shame we have to cut into it." I said as I took a picture of it with Sara's camera.

I already started showing. I hand a little bmp on the bottom of my belly. "Alright Lana, make a wish." Brandon said after sticking the candles in the cake and lighting them.

I had to think for a moment. "I wish, the hunters will completely die off." I thought before I blew the candles out. Now I know it was a pretty harsh wish but they were the evil in this world.

Everyone cheered and clapped for me. Emilee started cutting into the cake. "Birthday girl gets first piece." She said as she handed me a slice.

Once everyone was done eating and most had already gone home I decided to talk to Hailey since I hadn't seen her in a while. "Hey you." I said to Hailey on the porch.

"Hey."

"Why so glum?" I asked her as I put my hand over my little bump.

"I just thought that after Aaron and I left a mark on each other we would be closer. Like you and Brandon but we're not. It's like when you found out about your baby it brought you 2 even closer but Aaron and I are slowly drifting apart." She explained with a frown.

"Hailey, you'll be fine. OK? You should talk to him. Make him listen to how you feel." I said trying to make her feel better.

"How could you know? Plus he already knows. I told him." She said still frowning.

"I know it might seem crazy but I had a dream about you guys."

Her ears perked up. "Really what was it about?"
