A year later
I sat at my desk, typing away at my computer. I jumped as I felt hands land on my shoulder, I ripped out my head phones and spun around. "Aaron! You scared the life out of me!" He laughed and looked at my laptop before closing it. "Come on, get changed" he said before walking out.
I sighed and as he shut the door I pulled my shirt off. There was a pool party going on downstairs to celebrate. While I was upstairs writing for my new movie. I got changed into a black bikini and made my way downstairs where I walked straight outside. I was greeted with laughing, some splashing, and the smell of burgers on the grill. I walked over to where Devyn sat and sat right by her and Corey.
They gave me a smile and I shared one back. "I'm sorry I was upstairs writing" "You just need a break sometimes, Lexi" Devyn replied with a small nod from Corey. I nodded and looked down at my hands. I looked over at my left hand and at my ring finger.
The gorgeous ring that covered part of my finger. I twirled it around my fingers just as I heard Elton announce "Food's ready!" everyone got up and made their ways over where Elton placed an arm over my shoulder and kissed the top of my head.
