So, I was reading a book, (I can't remember who wrote it-oh wait! @MaurdersPotterhead or something like it) and it was conversations about the Cursed Child. It was about Draco and I kinda want to repeat my comment here:
I never liked Draco for a long time, but I understand why he was so mean. I mean, he was seriously brought up that way, and who knows he might've been like pushed really hard by his father. (I think there's some canon for a Draco-abuse story but idk) Plus, when Voldemort came around, he was really forced into the whole 'Become-A-Death-Eater thing. I like to think that he refused it first. Then when his father or someone else was threatened he still refused, over and over until his mother's life was threatened. Then he finally relented. Really, in the sixth and seventh book, Draco was doing whatever he could to save his mother, just like Harry with everyone he loved. There's not much difference between the two in that part.
Also, Scorpius was literally the only character I liked in Cursed Child. Delphi, Voldemort, and Bellatrix were plain creepy. Ron, Hermione, and Harry weren't shown a lot, but Harry just became really stone-hearted. Yea, he was stressed, but I thought Harry of all people could handle it. Draco wasn't shown much either, Ginny as well. And Albus was just a jerk in like, the first two acts. Then he finally turned around but he was only a jerk bc he was in Slytherin. He also seemed a bit whiny.
But Scorpius? Scorpius was smart, funny, kind, soft, gentle, nice, and an all around amazing character.
So yeah. Comment if you agree
