Loke's POV
This Lucy girl is.....different. But a good different. She makes me feel a way no other girl has made me feel before. She has spunk, and passion for things she loves, she's smart, she's beautiful, she's a Savage and a bit scary.
I don't know why this Natsu guy keeps telling her different, and treats her wrong. If I were him, I'd treat her like the princess she is.
I should stop thinking about her because I need to get back to work on this assignment Mrs. Keldin assigned me and sadly Natsu. I don't know why she assigned him the assignment as well. Luckily I don't have to work with him.
"Lucy, can you come over here for a sec", asks Mrs. Keldin.
"Sure, what is it".
"I see how well you work with Loke and the assignment I gave him, I can tell he needs a little help so can you participate in this assignment as well".
"Of course, I actually really like working with Loke".
"That's great now go help him".
Lucy's POV
I honestly don't mind working with him, he's cute, he's nice, he's friendly, caring, responsible, funny, adorable. Unlike some idiots around here.
Gah! Why am I thinking about him like that, he's just a friend. I have feelings for Ivan. Although I'm pretty sure he doesn't feel the same way. Can't think about that right now, need to focus on the assignment.
I walk over to me and Loke's desk and I see he's struggling a bit.
"Gaaahhhh, why can't I think of anything".
"Need some ideas?".
" huh?, OH Lucy, y-yeah".
"Well I'm a bit hungry, so all I have in mind is food, HEY why don't we make it off food".
"Food?, why food?".
What a dumb question.
"Isn't it obvious, food is love food is life, without it we die, plus who doesn't love food", I say proudly of my answer.
"I mean I got no idea and the project is due soon so, sure why not".
" YAY, just saying I'm an expert when it comes to food".
"How is one an expert?".
Again another dumb question.
"I just am and don't question the expert here we need to get to work".
"Right".
*30 minutes of class time later*
"Done, see I told you food would work".
"Yeah yeah "food expert", he says laughing.
"HEY!"
"Loke, Lucy can you email me the project (forgot to mention it's a slideshow on the computer, sorry I'm too hungry to think), Natsu you do the same as well".
"Yes Mrs. Keldin".
" Your guy's slideshow is on food?", Natsu asks uncertain.
"Yeah got a problem with that", I answer back.
"Geez you don't have to answer all rude".
"I'd say the same thing for you when you have that attitude".
" touché, but we'll see who's project is better based on what Mrs. keldin thinks", he takes out his hand for me to shake.
"Make the best project win", he smiles evilly.
"Makes the best project win", I shake his hand smirking.
Loke's POV
It makes me angry making them shake each other's hands. I love Lucy, I don't want her near any guy but me.
Natsu's POV
What's Loke's deal. He keeps giving me glares. Oh well. Hopefully my slideshow wins. Like who on earth would make a slideshow based on food?! Then again sounds like a good idea I guess.
"Loke, Lucy, can you come over here", Mrs. Keldin calls.
"What is it, Mrs. K".
"Your slideshow will be featured on the announcements", Mrs. K explains.
Seriously they won?! Ugh great. Well I might as well go congratulate them to tell them they won our competition. I walk over to them and they hug each other.
My heart was just torn. They must be.....no could they be, are they?
One girl I loved more than my own girlfriend is with someone else. Dammit, I'm such an idiot. I treated her so wrong all of this time making her think I never cared.
I just left the scene.....heartbroken. It's for the best, i guess.
Lucy's POV
"Your slideshow will be featured on the announcements", Mrs. K explains.
I was so happy to hear. Me and Loke got excited, a bit too excited that we hugged each other so tight. He's so warm, I thought. But we immediately let go before someone thinks we're a thing. Although I wish we were.
"S-Sorry", he apologizes.
"It's ok, now let's go back to our desk and work on the other assignment".
"We already did work, so why not take a break and play some online games", he recommends.
"Won't we get in trouble", I ask.
"That's only if we don't get caught, when the teacher passes by just change the table and pretend your working".
"Oh ok, sure let's do it".
Loke's POV
I show her some fun online games. We played against each other and she kept winning. Well I let her win. Oh Lucy if you were my girl, I'd treat you better.
So much better, better than he can.
