Cruddddd. Tomorrow is the first day of school. I still haven't thought about what I'm gonna say to Lucy. Geez if felt like it was just yesterday that summer started(uh actually it was yesterday cuz I updated the last chapter yesterday so yee), time goes by so fast. I'll just try to avoid her as best as possible.
Lucy's Pov
Well here we are. Tomorrow is the day, I finally get to punch Natsu in the face. After all the grieving I've done, I've changed into a new person and it isn't a good change. You may think, "oh Lucy is been 2 months you should've gotten over him a long time ago". Well even tho as much as I hate him, I still love him. I hate to say it but I do. Do you ever have that feeling where someone breaks up with and you should hate them, but......you still love them deep down even tho you wanna hate them, you just cant. It's like that for me.
Things that I changed was that I'm no longer a nice girl, I wear more darker clothes, my attitude changed, I'm sorta rude. My parents noticed and they've been a pain in the butt, telling me to control myself. Well it's not my fault my boyfriend dumped me on the worse day and I can't keep calm bout it. I didn't really need to choose my outfit since its just dark clothes. Since I still need to wait for my dad to come home, I'll just listen to some sad music. Yes, I listen to sad music, it's my therapy.
Meanwhile with Lucy's parents aka Third Person Pov
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, THE HEARTFILIA'S WON'T COOPERATE WITH PALMROSE INCORPORATION".
"Look Donovan, it's a good deal and all but no the Heartfilias will not be a part of this", says Mr. Heartfilia.
"Look Jude, you and I been good pals for a long time, you know I'd never go behind your back if that's what you're thinking", reassures Donovan.
" THAT'S NOT THE POINT, look the first time I came for the interview I knew what you were doing", Jude said starting to get more serious.
"Me? But what did I do, what would I, your best pal since the 4th of grade would do to ever hurt you"saying tryna be innocent and clueless.
"Quit being so stupid Donovan, you sabotaged the Heartfilia business before many times, and not only that I know your secret crush on Layla" , he says pointing his finger at Donovan.
"Crush on your wife? Oh please Jude think this through, she's your wife I could never steal her from you*although she is really sexy*", he acts while whispering the last part.
"WHAT'D YOU SAY?!,I HEARD THAT".
"Oh, it's nothinggggggg, don't worry your petty little head".
"Don't act stupid, I saw you looking at my wife, don't think your sneaky not all foxes are stealthy on what they do. I've had enough of this Donovan, I'm departing", he exclaims while grabbing is briefcase, while walking Out the door.
Our of anger, Donovan was about to throw a chair. As he grabbed it, he saw that there was a box of cookies. He realized that he had some poison in his desk cabinet. He grabbed the box and opened it while pouring the poison all over the cookies. He quickly closed it and ran out the door chasing Mr. Heartfilia.
" JUDE, HOLD ON", he tells running after him.
He finally stopped and glared at him.
"What do you want now Donovan", he angrily uttered annoyed.
"Well if you don't wanna join PalmRose Cooperation then that's your doing I shouldn't get mad and as a token of saying sorry I have cookies for you and Layla", he explains while grinning.
"Mhm I see well thanks for the concern and farewell till I see you next time",he says waving while his back facing Donovan.
"I don't think there will be a next time", he grins ebony while walking back to his office.
Lucy's Pov
I'm still listening to music until I heard the door open. I jump out of my bed and go downstairs to hug my dad. He showed the cookies to us, I was gonna grab one but it had raisins and I didn't like raisins. My mom told me to just take it off, but it'd still have the raisin germs. I decided to go outside on the garage roof and look at stars before tomorrow starts while listening to music of course. hI started playing Life Goes On by Gym Class Heroes(vid above, listen to it it's a good song). I looked up at the stars and wondered. All those people who passed away,are they the stars in the sky giving us light in the night? I also wondered how tomorrow will go. My mom came and my sweat dropped.
"I thought I told you not go up here anymore Hmmm?", asked my Mom smiling at me.
"Yeah sorry but I just like this spot, its soothing and I could think about some stuff", I responded.
"Stuff like what?, Hmmm", she questioned.
"Oh Uhhh, you know tomorrow first day at school sophomore year", I babbled.
"Oh yeah, but you know Lucy youll do fine and dont let others drag you down, youre always my princess", She brushed my bangs out of my hair.
Then she got up but fell holding her stomach and groaning in pain.
"MOM, YOU OK?!", I asked.
"Yeah Im fine just a stomach pain, dont worry about me now dont stay up too late", She limped to the ladder.
Well I guess i should get ready, tomorrow,.......its time.
