"Lucy what happened to you".
"Why are you so distant and mean".
"You used to be so nice, caring, friendly".
" Your not like before".
Those were all of the words Lucy kept hearing over and over. Ever since the stuff that's been going in in her life...
"You, your father, and I are going to spend 2 weeks in Mexico with your relatives".
"What!?". "But I hardly know any Spanish, I mean I know Spanish but it's not fluent and I don't know that many words".
"Don't worry, some of your cousins speak English so it'll be fine plus it's not like we're going for two months it's just two months", reassures my father.
"Fine whatever I guess, but when are we leaving?" .
"On Monday so I suggest you get packed right now".
" Are you kidding me, ughhhhhh fine if you need me I'll be in my room, packing ".
*few minutes after packing*
Lucy's POV
I'm done packing and right now I'm texting all of my friends and Natsu that I'm going to Mexico. I hate that I have to go, I never agreed to this. Oh well, at least I have something to do over the first 2 weeks of summer.
*Monday has come*
Right now, I'm in the airport ready to go on my flight. My mom bought me a pillow and a blanket with some food for the ride. I have my purse all set with my phone fully-charged, portable charger, money, headphones, book, and a special something that a special someone gave me yesterday.
"Yeah my parents want me to go to Mexico to visit my relatives for 2 weeks, I'm not excited as I didn't wanna go in the first place", sighs Lucy as she takes a sip of her drink.
"Aw this sucks, that means the first 2 weeks of summer I won't be able to hang out with you", he pouts.
"I know Natsu I'm sorry, if I had the chance to not go I wouldn't go but I can't but I'll be back I promise".
"Mmmmmm fine, but don't be looking at other guys when you're there", he pouts all jealous like.
"Oh well that's a shame since I was looking at pictures of this one guy who I find hot", she says dreamily with hearts in her eyes.
" WHATTTTTT WHO'S THIS GUY, I'LL KILL HIM YOU AREN'T ALOUD TO LOOK AT OTHER GUYS EXCEPT ME".
"But Natsu don't you wanna see a picture of him?", she asks innocent like.
" Mmmmm I guess, I wanna see how his guy is hotter than me, I'm the king of fire, no one can surpass me Natsu Dragneel king of flames and fire".

"... Are you kidding me Lucy this was just food, I thought you meant an actual guy", Natsu says annoyed.
" Hey tacos are guys that have feelings too ya know and they're hot like literally".
"Mmm just finish your milkshake so we can go".
*after they finished their milkshake*
" So why aren't you excited to go to Mexico, to me it sounds exciting ", asks Natsu.
"Meh many reasons, I never wanted to go in the first place, it sounds boring, my Spanish doesn't sound that well even though I'm Mexican, and more", Lucy sighs looking up at the sky.
"Plus I'm gonna be gone for 2 weeks and that means I won't see you or any of my friends for that long".
"But you're coming back right?"
"Yeah but in-".
"Then there's nothing to worry about, it's only 2 weeks we have 2 months of summer, it's not like you're gonna move there".
She looked at him. " You're right thanks Natsu ", she smiles.
" See now theres that beautiful smile we all know and love", he smiles back.
*while they were walking they encounter a rubber ducky*
"Ayy Luce, look its a rubber duck, can we keep it", pleads Natsu.
"Eww no, it was on the ground put it back", Lucy says in disgust.
"We could wash it, plzzzzzzzzz".
"Ughhhhhh fine, but you aren't going to see me holding it", she turns her head.
"Yay I'll wash it with my water bottle".
*after the duck was washed, it showed its skin with its colors and feathers*
"Aww the duck looks kinda cute I guess".
"Hey why don't we name it NaLu", Natsu suggests.
"NaLu?".
"Yeah it's our names combined and this duck can be our child".
Lucy quickly blushed.
"I like that actually".
"And why don't you take it with you to Mexico so there's something for you to remember from here".
"Aww Natsu, are you sure you want me to take the duck".
"Positive".
She hugs him and whispers. "Thank you".
*in the night*
Lucy was getting for bed until.... She heard something hit her window. She thought nothing of it so she just ignored it. Then another thing hit her window. She ignored it again. All of a sudden a pebble charges her window and makes a huge crack.
She then opens her window seeing the huge crack on it. Down below was Natsu.
"NATSU WHAT THE HELL, MY PARENTS ARE GOING TO KILL ME WHEN THEY SEE THIS", she scream whispers.
"Sorry I just wanted to give you something, come outside", he scream whispers back.
"Okay but it better be good", she grumbles.
*she comes outside and sees natsu holding a little box*
"Um Natsu what is that?".
"It's a necklace I bought for you so you can remember me".
He opens the box and has a heart that says Lu.
" Aww Natsu it's cute but wait shouldn't there be another one?"
"Yeah I have it and it says Na and when we combine it, it says NaLu".
"Natsu, it's beautiful thank you".
She hugs him as tears come down her face.
"Well go to sleep, I don't want to keep you awake, and have a good flight".
"Bye".
She kisses him and walks to her door. She stops and turns as she smiles at him.
*end of flashback*
So he gave me a duck and a necklace, I can't wait till I get back. But now I got to go.
We'll see how this goes.
*she enters the plane and arrives but that'll wait for next chapter*
