Chapter Nine: More Dating (Yoonhee and Yoona POV)

Since the revelation of my relation to Yoona, I've been hanging out with her regularly. I'm still trying to get over the fact that a famous hallyu star is my elder sibling whom I never knew (until recently). Not to mention the fact she was dating my favourite idol singer, Lee Seunggi. Unnie, I'm so jealous of you~

Now I am real close to Seunggi. These days, I see him more as an oppa instead of the 'singer oppa' that I used to call him. I got to know more about his role as an actor as well. Indeed, he was a talented person.

But hallyu star siblings also comes at a price. I found out that quite recently...in school.

(Flashback)

It had only been a few days since I met Yoona, and I have been avoiding the dreaded topic of SNSD ever since. My friends ocassionally brought it up, but they were not major topics to be concerned about.

But with the release of SNSD's new album, Mr. Mr., suddenly the whole school was talking about it. It's getting worrying because sooner or later they're going to ask me something like: "Yoonhee, are you sure Yoona is not your sister?"

I did not even dare to tell Yerim about it. But knowing she'd get suspicous when I wasn't at the orphanage anymore, I resolved to waking up really early and going to school before Yerim does. I told her not to wait for me now because of my resolution, and she seemed totally chill about it...for now.

The chingus in school...were another problem that I needed to deal with another time.

And speak of chingus, I tried to avoid Stefan too. The school day after the revelation, he dragged me away from the group and asked me about the incident and whether Yoona was really my sister. I told him the truth, and only him, so he promised to keep it a secret. Well, he does have manners.

Anyway, Yerim and I were sitting together with our group of friends and we were casually joking around. But for some reason, I was laughing rather awkwardly and forcing smiles and nods that were not at my own freewill.

"Our Yoonhee is feeling rather awkward today?" Yerim teased which was replied by people staring at me.

"Aniyo Yerim!" I denied. "I'm tired so I cannot really express myself..."

"Sure..." she faked a suspicious look. Oh chingu ah...

Just then, my phone vibrated. I looked at the caller ID, 'IYA' and got really tense...

...because 'IYA' was the ID I saved for Yoona! And Yerim was here...

"Sorry Yerim! I have to take this call!" I said in a hurried manner.

After rushing to be as far away from Yerim as possible, I answered the call.

"Mianhae unnie! My chingu was with me..." I apologised.

"Why do you have to be so scared about it?" Yoona asked me. "It's perfectly fine for you to reveal this truth is it not?"

"But I don't want to be pestered or be popular because of that!" I admitted. "Anyways, why did you call me?"

"Wanna go and crash Stefan and Krystal's date after your school ends?" Yoona asked in a scheming manner.

Now come to think of it, Stefan was not in school because of a 'doctors appointment'. Oh really now?
