While Milo -engineer of the crew- is sleeping, he suddenly hears a sound coming from the meta-human laboratories, so he tries to stand up but fails - since he is sleepy. He falls from the bed and hits his head and sighs. Then he gets up again and grabs some kind of a weapon and heads for the lab, darkness surrounding him.

Before managing to get close to the door he sees Heather coming out of there like a thief. She closes the door in silence and turns to her right. Milo follows her secretly until she enters the kitchen. He waits for some seconds and then he enters the room and turns on the lights. Suddenly, he takes a glance of the fridge - it's half open. He goes to close the door slowly, only to find his sister behind the door sitting with her back at him. Milo then makes a faster move closing the door, making an unpredictable sound which made Heather freak out.

She turns around, her mouth full of pizza. Without having managed to swallow all of the pizza in her mouth, she very determined keeps her head up, ready as if she has the best explanation. Milo does not speak. He just stands there, his hands crossed angrily waiting for a good excuse.

His sister very determined points out: "I can explain!", she answers.

Milo stays silent, knowing that she cannot outsmart him.

After a while of thinking, Heather admits:
"I can't explain..." she gives up not being able to find a reasonable explanation, "but I do have a question."

Her brother looks at her confused, not ready to hear or understand anything, having just woken up. She points at the weapon he is holding.

"Why?" she says almost laughing at him. He looks at his weapon wondering what is wrong with it.

And then she goes on. "I mean...", she lets a little burst of laugh out, "What? You thought it was a burglar or something? Maybe you forgot we're on space."

"Maybe, you forgot you're not supposed to be here!" he says.

"Why? Because some scientists discovered that by mixing this stupid chemical in 0 negative blooded people can help them gain powers depending on their DNA and aura? Well, you know what, Milo? Neither my DNA nor my aura are helping me expose any powers!"

"Apparently, you've exposed the power of selective hearing, Heather. Or maybe wait...you always had that." Her brother tells her sarcastically. "Because you never listen to me!"

"You did not let me finish, though!" she demands to let her speak. "With what logic did they gather all of 0 negative blooded people and put us in this stupid spaceship to go to an experiment planet? Did they ask for our opinion?"

"Hey, did you just say 'stupid spaceship'?" Milo asks, while Heather looks at him in question. Then he clarifies his question. "I thought it was your choice to become an astronaut..."

"Exactly, Milo. An astronaut. That's what I have been training for. Not to be an experiment!"

"Heather, we've talked about this!"

"No, Milo. You've talked about this. I just pretended to listen."

He looks at her in silence trying to realize how careless she is and after some seconds he bursts out. "You know it's against the rules-"

He doesn't manage to finish since Heather interrupts him.

"I don't care if it's against the rules! It wasn't my choice to have 0 negative blood and it wasn't my choice to be here!"

"Do you realize that you are part of an experiment? That you have to eat specific things and you just ruined -once again- everything."
