Heather wakes up at a place very different. Different from Earth, different from Andromeda...different from what she has ever imagined.
She gets up and looks around her in awe. She encounters a place full of flora and fauna so different from what she'd known...It is a place of magic.
While admiring all this beauty she takes her helmet off and puts it down. She didn't even remember herself wearing it in Andromeda. Nothing surprised her anymore, and she avoided overthinking things.
Then she does the same with the rest of the suit without taking her eyes off of the extraordinary place she had visited. She then starts exploring. She touches some flowers and when she does they change color. She touches the tree and after she takes her hand off she leaves her handprint on it, never to fade away. Then she slowly looks up and takes notice of other, different colored handprints on the tree. All differed in size. She knows she isn't alone there.
"Fascinating", she whispers.
Three bugs flew in front of her. They reminded her of butterflies, but they were not, their color was too...neon, to be human. She followed them with her eyes.
Later on she notices they go past a cage. Hm...why not go and check what is in there? That's what people do in horror films, whatsoever.
Before entering the cage she had to move some kind of thin plants that grew on top of the entrance and reached to the ground.
Not even a moment passes with her in the cage before she starts screaming the life out of her. She gets out of there as fast as she can and runs. It looks like she isn't the only one running. A very strange, big and...kind of creepy animal is running after her.
She doesn't even want to look back. She is too busy screaming.
Heather obviously keeps running while questioning life and cursing everything in existence, until she finally gets the chance to climb on a tree.
The animal seems to be unable to reach her but it tries to hit the tree so that she falls down. Alien beasts are -unfortunately- smart. Heather is acting naturally - terrified. At some point, the tree brakes and is ready to fall, so is Heather. But the thing is that the tree is just at the edge of a cliff...a very, very high cliff, and between her and the end of it the place is full of weird -yet wonderful- big birds like pterodactyls, but more...alien. They are all white with black and blue lines. They had two things like tales...on their heads? Okay, you know what...I'll, I'll stop describing, it's too complicated. Use your imagination!
Heather looks back realizing that the beast is approaching her since the tree is falling. She starts thinking:
One solution.
Two possible results.
We'll hope for the good one.
So she jumps right before the animal manages to catch her. It barely touched her hair with its alien fingernails. Heather falls through the abyss until she finally grabs a bird from one of its wings and tries to sit on top of the animal and find her balance, and the alien pterodactyl's as well.
After a while she manages to regain enough confidence to lead the way well and fly. Heather can't believe her eyes. She is actually flying! With all these dreamy creatures flying past her, all this mixture of colors - so fascinating...so alien.
If anyone told me today morning that some hours later I would be flying on an alien pterodactyl in an alien planet I would have punched him in the face, she thinks to herself. She holds the two tales in front of her tight and decides to take this flight on the next level. So, she leads the way by moving the tales accordingly, left, right, up and down...at least this is what people do when riding a horse.
